In Time

Hey!

I'm happy to say that today I saw In Time with Justin Timberlake, Amanda Seyfried, Matt Bomer and Alex Pettyfer.

I liked this poster better than the "original".

So, I didn't know I'd like this movie so much! I saw the trailer on Apple Trailers sometime ago and was instantly captivated by the storyline. I like this type of films. Now, I watched it and wow! Is pretty awesome.

One of the parts that impressed me more was when he wastes one year with tolls. That was really impressive in a bad way, obviously. Can you imagine lose a year of your life just to enter in a city?! Incredible. Speaking of "incredible", Alex Pettyfer as the bad guy is something I wasn't expecting to see and enjoy. He can easily put a bad-guy-face with that accent and go around killing people and be totally credible. On the other hand, seeing Matt Bomer just for like 10 minutes and then watch him die is something deeply sad...

Well, as usual I don't want to be a spoiler, thus I really liked it and want some more movies this kind.

And Happy Halloween!

James Dean (2001)

Hi!

Today I forced myself to watch once and for all James Franco's James Dean (2001).

After years of lacking of courage to see this I made it!
Yes I cried a little in the end but did it.

I have to say that I thought it was more detailed during the time he was filming Rebel Without A Cause, Giant and East Of Eden but no. They speed it all and focused only on his personal life like with his father relation.

All in all there was little I didn't know but I read somewhere they changed some parts for the movie.

Anyways, James Franco was amazing! I know Jimmy is irreplaceable but in some scenes he's super similar. He did a great job!

Before I say too much or start to cry or anything I'm going to finish this post.

The Three Musketeers 2011

Hello!

Today I killed my excitement and saw The Three Musketeers with Logan Lerman, Orlando Bloom, Mila Jovovich and Christhoph Waltz.

Like it was said on a previous post and above I wanted to see this although I was a bit hesitant because of the others films about the 3 musketeers. There are quite a few and they aren't that great actually.
But Logan Lerman was D'Artagnan so that was a fact I couldn't forget.

If you're like me and saw the Spanish/Japanese cartoons - Dogtanian and The Three Muskehounds - when you were a kid I'm sure you'll have the same opinion: it all happens so fast. I know it's normal and the cartoons are totally different but the story is the same.

Oh, and I like when Logan wears a almost "normal" leather jacket most of the film when the others wear period costumes haha

Anyways, I think the end was made for the existence of a sequel... Well, bring it on. I enjoyed it. I thought it'd be a lame-3D-upgrade version but there are funny quotes, action parts, sword fights obviously and romance has a statement part as well.
If I had to gave it a number from 1 to 10, I'd probably give it a 7. (But who am I? I'm not a critical journalist or anything like it.)

Wasn't a waste of time...

iGenius: How Steve Jobs Changed The World

Heya!

Saw the whole "episode" last night.
I must say that I'm a true Apple-Geek because nothing they said were news to me :S

I think they didn't talk everything that needed to be talked about the computers, I mean they could've explored that subject a little more. But ok I'm happy with what they put together.

Oh and Pete Wentz comments some parts. That was truly surprising!

Go watch it somehow if you haven't already. Now. Go.

Logan Lerman - Teen Vogue

Hey!

On this November Teen Vogue issue is a - I don't know if you can call it a editorial - photoshoot that features Logan Lerman and Laura Love.
Yes, I saw the Gamer, read all Percy Jackson books and saw the first movie with him. And I want to see The Three Musketeers. Oh, and yes again, I think he's cute.

Now, back to the photoshoot. I can't pick my favourite. I don't know what it is but both look adorable in each image.

Do you understand what I was talking about? I don't have anything against her, but he looks great!

There's a Behind The Scenes video where we can see how everything was made, as Teen Vogue accustomed us.

Totally buying this month's Teen Vogue.

Bite My Tongue

I hate to break it to you but
You're just a lonely star.
I try to bring you down but
A level isn't good enough.
You always do as you please, so
I'm going to follow suit and take a seat.
Watch you fall apart (why don't you fall apart?...)
'Cause in the end what are you without me?
I'll slow this down 'cause I know that you can't keep up.
Oh, maybe I, maybe I was wrong from the start.
I might be proud, but at least I'm proud of something.
You've taken pride in becoming nothing.

You keep me on the edge of my seat.
I bite my tongue so you don't hear me.
I wanna hate every part of you in me.
I can't hate the ones who made me.
You keep me on the edge of my seat.
I bite my tongue so you don't hear me.
I wanna hate every part of you in me.
I can't hate the ones who made me.

I'm married to the music
For better or for worse.
You say that I'm privileged,
But my gift is my curse.
I can't recall the last time someone asking how I was.
Last I checked I was a fucking wreck,
I called for help and no one showed up.
So I sit in the dirt.

*Just forget what you've learned.
Just forget what you've heard.
The truth should come first.
I can't bear the sight of you anymore.
You've become what I hate.
Sold yourself for a bit of fame.
Now the wolves have closed their doors.
You wanna drag me down some more.
Fuck you! Fuck You!*

By: You Me At Six & Oli Sykes

I'm in LOVE, no that's not the word, but obsessed is, with this song as well as the whole album. Best album yet. Oh, and the Bite My Tongue documentary is so amazing!

Blog TAG: Things I Want To Do Before I Die

Hi!

I don't know if there's a TAG for this or not but I saw a blogger do a list with the things she wanted to do before she died so I said to myself "why not do the same?!"
But for cut me short I made a limit of 10 so I didn't end up making an endless list.

  • I want to be happy.
  • I want to found the love of my live.
  • I want to have a penthouse somewhere amazing.
  • I want to travel all over the globe.
  • I want to live in London.
  • I want to go shopping in New York.
  • I want to write a book.
  • I want to go to a fashion show.
  • I want to design a clothing line.
  • I want to visit Coco Chanel's home.

Here it is. I think they all are the normal "dreams" (if you want to call it that) every girl has.

Thus, if you have a any kind blog, I TAG you. If this is not a TAG, let's make it one. Do a list of 10 thing you want to do/have/buy/go/whatever before you die then post your link in the comments.

This will be fun ;)

Think carefully, though, I'm regretting some of the things I wrote already.

A Winter Message

Hello!

I'm happy today.
Do you want to know why?
Because today, finally was an Autumn day! It rained!!
God, how much I missed the cold, the rain and the thunderstorms?!...

Anyways, I found this little poem about Winter. I thought it was the sweetest thing ever and perfect after the day I had so here it is:

A flake of snow in flurry thro' the air
Had landed as a kiss upon my cheek:
A secret message, just for me to share;
To take to heart but never dare to speak
About or presuppose to other eyes
Your open feelings - distant though they are.
And so, upon your lips, my OWN surprise:
A flake of snow returned from me afar.

Louis Vuitton Travel Case

Heya!

Today let's just talk about one of my dreams. Before saying anything else, I bet I'm not the only one having this dream.

I told you I'm already thinking about Christmas therefore presents which made me think about what I'm asking my parents. I have to make clear this is the most improbable present I'm going to receive ever but at least I tried.

So without babbling too much, as usual, I'm showing you what I'm talking about:

Louis Vuitton Travel Case

Do I need to say anything? I don't think so...

If you're wondering about the price, well it's always difficult to search online and find the exact number that's marked on its tag, so what I did was go to louisvuitton.com and chose USA, then clicked on E-Shopping. There are all the prices but in dollars thus you just have to convert to your own currency (or click here)
This baby cost nothing more than 4,650 dollars that converting into euros is something around 3,350€.
Yup, totally impossible for me to receive this for Christmas...

Cheek To Cheek

Hey!

Just because I'm a old-school romance "fan", I'm always looking for classic old films like from the 30's, 50's or 60's, yup, Frank Sinatra, Gene Kelly, Fred Astaire, Elizabeth Taylor, James Dean... the list has no end, I could continue writing here names of actors I admire all night, I'm definitely forgetting someone important because they're so many...

Therefore, I love from the bottom of my heart Singin' In The Rain, as I wrote about the song here.

Although is from the 30's, today I chose Top Hat with the sweet Cheek To Cheek.

Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire - Cheek To Cheek - Top Hat

No words to describe how adorable this is...

Devoted By Hilary Duff

Hi!

Let's skip that part where I say how much I like Hilary and that true cliche that I actually grew up with her ;)

So, Devoted was pretty difficult for me to get. It took me weeks, actually. But I read in 5 hours - new record.

Anyways, I must say I wasn't expecting this storyline. I mean the "action" only starts towards the really end, although I'm not gonna lie the lasts chapters are breathtaking and the proper end is unexpected but that ending passed through my head while reading it. I thought maybe that was what was going to happen.

The only thing I could say when I ended it was "OH MY FUCKING GOD!" which is my speech for: That was so cool. How awesome was that? What happens now? That was so incredible! etc, etc, etc.

By that ending I say there's going to be a third book. If that's going to happen, just next year I'll be able to read it which I don't know if I will stand alive until then.

Oh well, after all those hours without looking at anything but the book I still am on OMFG status... But soon will be on can't-wait status for the third.

To finalise everything I think she did a great job as usual and of course, I'm waiting for the next one ;)

Pan Am - ABC

Hello!

When people ask me what I want to do in my professional life I always (or very often) say I want to be a journalist or a photojournalist or a stewardess.
I could write a thousand reasons why I'm thinking about each of them, but today I'm staying with the latter one.

Firstly, I love to travel, I think that is one of the main things you have to like to chose this job; secondly where I live the most important language you have to know is English which I've been learning all my life and still am; third you have to be flexible with your schedule, I mean let's just say I'm that kind of person who has to have all day precisely organized, and as you might know in this job you never know what can happen.
At my point of view, these are the most important things.

I know all about the height and weight you have to have and if you're pretty it'll all be easier... I know this is true but I try to think that with luck it's just rumors...
Just so I can sleep normally...

If you're still reading this you're probably thinking to yourself I'm a stupid girl who dreams about that glamorous life the stewardess had on the 60's, well I wouldn't mind if it was like that today, but my answer is no, I don't dream about that. I mean obviously I'd love with all my heart to be a Pan Am's girl but that's not possible. Unfortunately.

Anyway, I'm still searching, thinking and wondering about every little aspect good, bad or otherwise about one off the three jobs when it's something I'm going to do all my life I want to chose properly.

So, back to the tittle, I finally got to see all season, so far, of Pan Am. The new ABC show.

After all the things I said above do I have to say anything else about the reason I watch this? I don't think so...
I'm loving it!!

I've been thinking for the last year to buy that Pan Am's bag, but now I am totally convinced. I know Marc Jacobs made a Limited Edition (here) and was pretty but I didn't catch it, so I'm left with panam.com.

Spotlight (Oh, Nostalgia)

Every word's a new regret if you say it right, right
Every wound can be forgotten in the right light
Oh, nostalgia, I don't need you anymore
'Cause the salad days are over and the meat is at my door

They might try to tell you how you can live your life
But don't, don't forget it's your right, to do whatever you like, you like, you like, you like
'Cause they might try to tell you how you can live your life
But don't, don't forget it's your right, to do whatever you like, you like

'Cause you could be your own spotlight, e-o, e-o
You could be your own spotlight, e-o, e-o
You could be your own spotlight
You could be the star, you can shine so bright, e-o, e-o
You could be your own spotlight

Depression is little bit like happy hour, right
It's always gotta be happening somewhere on any (any) given (given) night
No, nostalgia, I don't need you anymore
I just hope my perfect stranger that my kids look more like yours

'Cause they might (they might) try to tell you how you can live your life (your life)
But don't, don't forget it's your right to do whatever you like, you like

'Cause you could be your own spotlight, e-o, e-o
You could be your own spotlight, e-o, e-o
You could be your own spotlight
You could be the star, you can shine so bright, e-o, e-o

You could be your own spotlight, e-o, e-o
You could be your own spotlight, e-o, e-o
You could be your own spotlight
You could be the star, you can shine so bright, e-o, e-o (e-o, e-o)
You could be your own spotlight

'Cause you could I had a little bit of bad luck
(Shine a light up there, shine a light up there)
Oh, when will this crumbling world stop?
(Shine a light up there, shine a light up there)
Little sweetness keeps just out of reach...
(Shine a light up there, shine a light up there)
'Cause compassion is something that they just don't
They just don't teach, teach

'Cause you could be your own spotlight, e-o, e-o
You could be your own spotlight, e-o, e-o
You could be your own spotlight
You could be the star, you can shine so bright, e-o, e-o

You could be your own spotlight, e-o, e-o
You could be your own spotlight, e-o, e-o
You could be your own spotlight, e-o, e-o
You could be the star, you can shine so bright, e-o, e-o
You could be your own spotlight...
You could be your own spotlight

Enthralled : Paranormal Diversions

Heya!

Four days ago, I think, I ended Enthralled: Paranormal Diversions by many famous YA authors.

I forgot to tell here my opinion and all those things I do after I end reading a book.
Anyway, I thought I'd just write about the stories I really liked that way it doesn't get much boring. So, let's do this:
  • Giovanni's Farewell by Claudia Gray - I don't know if this story is a excerpt of a book or not, as like others on Enthalled, but I could totally read a book or even a saga about this. One of my favourite stories off all 16 included.
  • Skin Contact by Kimberly Derting - As you might know I read the The Body Finder and its follower Desires Of The Dead and loved them both so when I started reading and discover it was in the "same world" with one character in common I was beyond happy. In this story we find a little... adventure Rafe has and discover a bit more about what his power really is.
  • Gargouille by Mary E. Person - I don't if it was because I never have read a book about gargoyles but this story really caught me until the end.
These were my favourites but they all are pretty good and easy to read which is always cool.

Mayday Parade Album

Hey!

I totally forgot to write here about Mayday Parade's self-title new album.

I prefer this one to the previous although I really liked it but the third has something better...

I must say that I didn't find any song catchy at first but there are some awesome songs there.
Oh Well, Oh Well is the first track and single too - here's the video:

Yes, one of my favourites, as well as A Shot Across The Bow, Everything's An Illusion, Without The Bitter, The Sweet Isn't As Sweet and Happy Endings Are Stories That Haven't Ended Yet.

I'm loving this album right now

TVD - The Reckoning

Hi!

Just today I got the oppotunity to watch Thurday's episode of The Vampire Diaries.

Let me just say I wasn't expecting anything like it was. The previously one ended with Stefan and Claus arriving in Mistic Falls. By that I knew this episode would be something to not miss but never thought Stefan would attack Elena...

The biggest part of the viewers prefer Elena with Damon. I don't. Maybe because I didn't read the books. Maybe. But as I see it Damon is the funniest character there and since Stefan is on indefinite status, he's been kind of boring... At this episode when he and Katherine go on a "road-trip" he goes back to that Damon I like so much. I don't get why people want to lose that... After all they are dating out of the show...

Seriously excited for next Thurday.

Converse All Star A/W 2011-2012

Hello!

As it been written many times here, I'm a huge Chucks fan.

So, very often I go around the website and kill my desire of having them all. There haven't been one time I didn't liked anything (what a surprise?!).

This time I found these: All Star Basic Suede in a really intense blue I liked a lot.

Aren't they the prettiest thing ever?! Love at first sight.
If I catch them on one of my nearest stores, oh god, I'll buy them for sure!

I Just Came To Say Hello

Heya!

I'm kind of obsessed with this song. In the morning when I go to school at 7:15am I turn this on and the party is on.

It has that Summer vibe but as I told you already the weather is really messed up and it's pretty hot thus still do its job haha

Fixed At Zero

This doesn't make much sense
Think far out but I'm still locked in...
I'm still lost walking circles
The floor swallowed me up whole
There's nowhere to go...

There's a vulture on my shoulder and he's telling me to give in
Always hissing, right in my ear, like it's coming from my own head
It's got me mixed up, trying not to give up
Tell me there's a way to get out of here
Oh, fixed at zero

I've learned to talk with my fingers
The only voice that wakes my ears...
(Oh, make my bones do something...)
Ever wanted to jump out your skin?
Anticipate until the sidewalks ends
There's nowhere to go...

There's a vulture on my shoulder and he's telling me to give in
Always hissing, right in my ear, like it's coming from my own head
It's got me mixed up, trying not to give up
Tell me there's a way to get out of here
Oh, fixed at zero

There's a vulture on my shoulder and he's telling me to give in...
Always hissing, right in my ear, like it's coming from my own head
It's got me mixed up, trying not to give up
Tell me there's a way to get out of here
Oh! Fixed at zero...

Fixed at zero...
I'm fixed at zero

Versace For H&M

Hey!

The next October 17 will be a great day to shop.
Do you know why?
No?
I tell you why, that's the date when the new collection by Donatella Versace goes to H&M's shops and we all can see, touch and buy.

I bought the new Vogue and some ads were featured but nothing complete.

Although I loved, seriously, the leather jackets (left). Both perfectos are absolutely amazing! Definitely something I'm looking forward haha that's funny anything studded I like.
Oh and the first dress (starting from the left).

I'd to see more images. I found these, the one with the black and gold dress and was pretty much it...
At seconds thought, maybe it's better that way, leaves more suspense until the release day.

Are you exited?

Disney's Hercules

Hi!

Almost a year ago, when I started this blog I wrote right at the first posts that I'm a sucker for Disney's Hercules and because of that I always wanted to go to Greece.

Well, tomorrow I got my first official test of this school year which is Geography and when I made a break from studying after 2 hours of my head being stuck on my books, I ate something and watched Hercules.

The perfect choice of words - A Walt Disney Masterpiece - for sure!
I have the DVD, the one that's gold and says "classical edition" so my cover, unfortunately, isn't this one.

Like I was saying, I made a break and made play on Hercules.
Let me just say I haven't seen the film for quite sometime.

Now, first of all, I want a Hercules on my life for real! He's got everything - the courage, the humor, the looks and the sentimental part as well. He's the all packaging!

I don't know how Disney can do this but on every movie, I'm sure, everybody ends up liking it. It has always something romantic that make girls sigh (like I did) and the boys either they admit it or not there's always a character or some kind of detail that they enjoy. If I'm wrong tell me in the comments, right now.

So I'm not that kind of girl that her favourite Disney movie is The Beauty And The Beast, The Little Mermaid or the Sleeping Beauty. As I said on the other post and is understandable from above mine is Hercules (again, for the thousandth time) and Aladdin
When friends or family ask me my favourite Disney Princess I say Jasmine, although at the bottom of my heart I don't have one.
On Hercules there isn't any princess, there's Meg, sure, and she's cool but not a princess. So I say Jasmine. On my point of view she's not like the others and also Aladdin isn't like any other prince. I like the storyline there. And the songs! Oh the songs!! Hercules and Aladdin have the best songs ever! I'm always singing them around the house or at school basically everywhere.

Did you notice I started writing about Hercules and my break from studying and ended up on Aladdin? Great!

Which Disney movie is your favourite?

Hanna

Hello!

Today I saw a film I wanted to see for sometime - Hanna.

With Eric Bana, Saoirse Ronan and Cate Blanchett.

I was completely surprised! It was nothing at all what I thought it was and in a positive way.

She can seriously kick any guy's ass (wish I could do that!). Anyway, she's sixteen and was trained all her life to know how to defend herself by her father. So yes, pretty much all movie is passed with Hanna killing people or running from them.

Here's the trailer:

2:31 that you can see what I was talking about - she's totally bad-ass.

You Me At Six - Sinners Never Sleep

Heya!

Today I bought Sinners Never Sleep, You Me At Six's new album.

I haven't made my opinion yet, what I mean is I haven't listen to all the songs carefully to know if I like the whole album or not. But I can tell you the songs that are stuck in my head since the first second I listened which are:
  • Loverboy - So awesome! My humble opinion says it was the perfect choice for first single. It's very catchy.
  • Jaws On The Floor
  • Bite My Tongue - Oli Sykes from BMTH sings a part on it. It's definitely one of my favourites.
  • This Is The First Time
  • Crash - I think it's the ballad of the album... I'd say. The lyrics are so well made... Love it!
  • The Dilemma - I love the first verse. It's like "faster" and his accent is just adorable. The rest of the song has some "comments" or whatever you want to call it which turn the music so fun.
I you don't know there's a trailer of Bite My Tongue that's really cool.

Michael Bublé - Christmas Album

Hey!

Where I live the weather is really messed up, we're in October and the temperature is very high for what should be and for what we're used to. I understand most people like that. Like to go to the beach but don't you think Summer was enough? I mean, where's the cold and the rain? I'm guilty because I don't like hot weather but... It's October!

So, I'll probably be called crazy but I've start thinking about Christmas already. I know it's pretty soon but on my defense I must say it's my favourite time of the year.
By that you can imagine how happy I became when I discovered Michael Bublé has a new album coming this month where he sings Christmas songs.

The cover is adorable!
I think the red detail is really clever.

There's a video on Michael's Youtube channel where we can see some scenes of him recording Holly Jolly Christmas

Let me just say that from 0:02 to 0:23 I was cold and that Christmas Spirit - you only have when you see Coca-Cola advertisements on tv - spread through me. Oh!... I miss Christmas!

I searched online for the track-list (more info here) and discovered that he wrote some of the songs which is great because a whole album full of covers would be kind of disappointing. It'd be a waste of his voice... Although I have nothing against him covering songs. At all. Look at Maroon 5's This Love, amazingly fun!

This got me thinking that the marketing world is just like me. Wants Christmas earlier this year haha

R.I.P. Steve Jobs

Hi!

I'm looking at my MacBook right now and thinking how incridible this all is... I can't believe Steve Jobs passed away... It seams all too much incredible to me...

He always was someone I looked up to. He taught us to never give up on anything and mainly never lose faith.

God, I don't even know what to write...

I remember one time at school where we had to write an interview about someone known by all and I chose him. Because like I said I spent all my life looking at him like an idol. Well, when at the next class the teacher gave the notes I got a zero! Yup. I went straight to her and asked why did I received that note, she just told me I didn't wrote what was supposed to. At this second I started to feel my blood bubbling on my head and I responded her the simplest way I could - why would you say that? I wrote about the man who taught me how to never lose faith no matter what and he is worldwide famous - she told me to go sit and didn't answer me.
My body created a super-hate-feeling towards her that I would not control forever, obviously.
That was one of many school projects I made about Mr. Jobs.

This week started perfectly with the response Mia Rose gave me, school was going really great for once but then I got this bad news... I think it's a prove to me that is really true when people say "nothing that's good lasts forever..."
My lucky week came to an end, I knew that'd happen but never thought the end would be somebody's death.

I think because I always thought he'd make it through. I mean is Steve Jobs we're talking about...

I think I better shut up because I might start cry or something...

But I'll just leave this video with his speech at Stanford in 2005. It's very inspiring. If you ever lose your strength and think you can do it anymore watch this, it'll help you get through.

Rest In Peace Steve.
You'll always be remembered. And thank you for everything.

Becca Fitzpatrick - Silence Limited Edition

Hello!

I'm sorry for not post anything yesterday but I was completely caught up on the book. Just so you know I didn't ate dinner, because I wasn't hungry, yes, but because of the book as well.
