You Again (2010)

Hi!

I love Kristen Bell. She's gorgeous, funny and talented. I'm always happy when I have an opportunity to watch anything she's made.

This time I watched You Again.

I think the whole movie is similar to Just Friends with Ryan Reynolds. She's super cool and successful in L.A. but when returns home she's the loser she was in High School. That's kind of stupid. I didn't like that.
And I don't understand why her brother is so upset with her, I can accept he feels a little sad but her fiancée was the major bully in their school.
Other than that, this film is funny, you laugh sometimes. Not the funniest film I've seen, though.

Kristen Bell looks amazing in here. She's beautiful.

Here's the trailer:

Green Day - ¡Uno! ¡Dos! ¡Tré!

Hello!

Green Day posted a Youtube video where you being a fan or not can hear and be super excited about their 3 new albums coming out starting in September.

I was screaming while watching this video:

It's My Birthday

I turn 18 today.

When I was 12 I thought that turning eighteen was the best that could happen in life. You become legally responsible of yourself and for my twelve-year-old brain that was the coolest thing ever.

But today was anything but cool. I spend the day at home just doing nothing. I skipped school because it's not everyday you turn 18 and my mom told me I kind of deserved it.

In my mind I'm not 18. I'm still 15 or 16. And now during this last minute of the day I'm not happy, excited or anything similar. I feel like I need to battery myself if that makes any sense.

And because it's Monday it's not welcome to plan dinners when the day after you have to wake up early so Friday or Saturday I will celebrate my 18th birthday properly.

ABC - Missing

Heya!

Last night I was doing a rarely zapping through my tv channels when I ended up watching Missing with Ashley Judd and Cliff Curtis.

When it came out I was never interested but I watched the re-aired first episode and I was captivated until the end.
I just saw the pilot and enjoy the storyline, her son disappears and she flies to Italy looking for him and discovers he was kidnaped and she being an ex-CIA goes on a quest to find her son. I think it could interesting to follow...

The Adventures Of Tintin - The Secret Of The Unicorn

Before saying anything about the film, let me just say that I saw the cartoons (I think you can call it that) and weren't my favourite. I never was much interested in Tintin so I think that's the major cause for not running to a theatre when came out.

Today I saw The Adventure Of Tintin - The Secret Of The Unicorn.

From what I read and heard people saying about this film I thought it was "the greatest adaptation ever". I don't know if it's because I'm not a fan or something but I didn't like it that much. It's fun. Jamie Bell as Tintin is funny and the british accent gives a special touch to a french character. Captain Haddock with an Irish accent is the sparkle of the persona.

While I was watching, I thought motion capture is... too artificial. I understand that filming this like a normal film would be disastrous. Jamie Bell with orange hair and Captain Haddock wearing long-sleeves during a walk in the desert and these are the superficial things. I understand that but it's complicated for me to think that real people are there but not any real scenario.

Anyway, forget my complicated mind and watch the trailer if you haven't already.

I thought it could be fun to watch the behind-the-scenes.

The Death Cure - James Dashner

After my huge purposeful delay, I finished the final book on the Maze Runner Series - The Death Cure - written by James Dashner.

Thomas knows that Wicked can't be trusted, but they say the time for lies is over, that they've collected all they can from the Trials and now must rely on the Gladers, with full memories restored, to help them with their ultimate mission. It's up to the Gladers to complete the blueprint for the cure to the Flare with a final voluntary test. What Wicked doesn't know is that  something's happened that no Trial or Variable could have foreseen. Thomas has remembered far more than they think. And he knows that he can't believe a word of what Wicked says. The time for lies is over. But the truth is more dangerous than Thomas could ever imagine. Will anyone survive the Death Cure?

After ending the second book and reading this I thought the third was going to be the worst in terms of "frustration".
That didn't happen.

Letters To God

Caught off guard
All worked up
The air is as dark and cold as night
Let me go
I'm not done
I swear I'll take just one lifetime and I...

I won't lie
I won't sin
Maybe I don't wanna go
Can't you wait
Maybe I don't wanna go

I should've asked
I could've helped
At least a fucking thousand times before
Will this offer get me in
Or does this prove that they gave more and I...

I won't lie
I won't sin
Maybe I don't wanna go...
Can't you wait
Maybe I don't wanna go

And I
I won't lie
I won't sin
Maybe I don't wanna go...
Can't you wait
Maybe I don't wanna go

And I
I won't lie
I won't sin
Maybe I don't wanna go...
Can't you wait
Maybe I don't wanna go

iPhone 4S Ads

As I said, I've lost the count how many times, I'm a Youtube subscriber of Apple. They recently posted two new iPhone 4S ads. Both are so funny.

The first features Zooey Deschannel.
She's adorable!

The second is with Samuel L. Jackson
I love the end when he says "Siri, you can take the night off".

Blackberry Tutti Frutti Case

Today I think finally did I heard my phone's plea and brought him a case from Accessorize.

I discovered the name just now and I think is cute: Tutti Frutti. Although it has just one fruit it's super colourful.
I don't understand why it says "Love" in obvious english and than says "Para Avion" in french...

When I saw the case on the website I thought it was just some weird hard plastic but I was wrong and it feels like rubber. It's cool to touch.
I just hope the design lasts and doesn't ship easily.

Lush - Marilyn

I've been trying to stay less time in front of my computer because I'm trying to not sit down for too long. It's not healthy. Therefore my posts are schedule but I'm still having trouble with that so sorry for the lack on posts.

Today I went to Lush because I'm blonde and wanted to try the Marilyn treatment. I was born blonde, really blonde but as I grew up it started to darkened but was still vivid blond but during the last 2 years it's so dark that almost looks like almond brown. It's not that I don't like is just that I can't see myself brunette. It's so weird. I tried to used some spray to lightener my hair but was making it weak and seemed like I was dyeing it badly.
Now I use my normal shampoo and conditioner for blondes and decided to try Marilyn.

"Softness, brightness and shine for blonde hair. Marilyn is for blondes who would like to stay blonde and become even blonder, in a gentle, shiny, and natural way (even if they didn't become blonde naturally). We make it by hand with softening linseed gel, chamomile for lightness and to calm your scalp, saffron for golden colour, lemon for shine, and olive oil to moisturize your hair and keep it soft. Chamomile contains a natural, weak dye that gradually lightens the hair and brings out natural blonde tones with regular use, making hair look more vibrant."

The reviews I read online were divided between fantastic and horrible. Many people were complaining about the smell. For me it smells like chamomile and honey and then bleach but as someone said the smells remembers a coup of tea.
I can't say anything because I haven't use it yet but I'll tell you the progress as I use the whole pot. The only think I don't know is how many times are you supposed to make this treatment. I guess I'll see when I use for the first time.

The Scorch Trials - James Dashner

Hey!

Yesterday I didn't had any free time to come here but at least I finished the second book - The Scorch Trials - on the The Maze Runner series by James Dashner. Therefore, here's my review.

"Solving the Maze was supposed to be the end. No more puzzles. No more variables. And no more running. Thomas was sure that escape meant he and the Gladers would get their lives back. But no one really knew what sort of life they were going back to.
In the Maze, life was easy. They had food, and shelter, and safety... until Teresa triggered the end. In the world outside the Maze, however, the end was triggered long ago.
Burned by sun flares and baked by a new, brutal climate the earth is a wasteland. Government has disintegrated - and with it, order - and now Cranks, people covered in festering wounds and driven to murderous insanity by the infectious disease known as the Flare, roam the crumbling cities hunting for their next victim... and meal.
The Gladers are far from finished with running. Instead of freedom, they find themselves faced with another trial. They must cross the Scorch, the most burned-out section of the world, and arrive at a safe haven in two weeks. And WICKED has made sure to adjust variable and stack the odds against them. Thomas can only wonder - does he hold  the secret of somewhere in his mind? Or will he forever be at the mercy of WICKED?"

When I wrote about the first book, I said it was supper frustrating and suffered while reading, wasn't it? Well, forget all about that because the sequel is worse. So much worse!

Have Faith In Me

Yesterday I wrote I was going to starting reading the The Scorch Trials but I ended up going to bed super late and decided to re-read another book instead. I chose Spellcaster because was the last book I finished.
Moving on to the point of this, I talked on some previous post that Spellbound and Spellcaster have playlists but when I finished the second book I forgot all about it and didn't checked which songs belonged to the list and last night I did check.
Great songs! There's probably my favourite Paramore song there which makes me happy because "plays" during a nice scene.
But the best part was discovering a A Day To Remember song - Have Faith In Me - among the others. I love that song and also "can be heard" on a cool scene.

I had completely forgotten this song. I'm stupid. So now clearly my obsession returned and I'm very thankful with it ;)

The Maze Runner - James Dasher

Hi!

Book review today about The Maze Runner written by James Dashner.

"When Thomas wakes up in the lift, the only thing he can remember is his first name. His memory is blank. But he's not alone. When the lift's doors open, Thomas finds himself surrounded by kids who welcome him to the Glade - a large, open expanse surrounded by stone walls.

Just like Thomas, the Gladers don't know why or how they got to the Glade. All they know is that every morning the stone doors to the maze that surrounds them have opened. Every night they've closed tight. And every 30 days a new boy has been delivered in the lift.
Thomas was expected. But the next day, a girl is sent up - the first girl ever arrive in the Glade. And more surprising yet is the message she delivers.
Thomas might be more important than he could ever guess. If only he could unlock the dark secrets buried within his mind."

My story towards this book is kind of funny, because I was finished with Spellcaster for a few days and was crazy looking for one brand-new obsession. I went to iBook Store searching for a new book when accidentally I clicked on The Maze Runner. I read the little summary and thought it could be fun. I downloaded the Sample first, read it all and decided to download the complete version.

At first I was a little disinterested because it was frustrating and confusing. The poor boy alone and no one answered his questions but I forced myself to pay attention and was one of the best decisions I've ever made.

Some Stuff #28

Her...

I can never get my mind off her,
I wonder if she'd mind if I'd,
Make her my own,
And never let her go,
Hug her tight,
Treat her right,
Act all polite,
Take her on a date,
Make sure I'm never late,
Kiss her on her lips,
Talk about our kids,
Make her feel like a princess,
Living in a castle,
Hope that is no too mush hassle,
But I am so blessed,
Hope I can be the best,
Hold you tight,
Have her breast,
On my chest,
Pass the test,
NOW YOU'RE MINE!

DoodleGeddon App

Hello!

I don't know if a normal pc or smartphone can have this app but if you have any Apple device (eg. a laptop or an iPhone) you can easily download this game - DoodleGeddon. In my case I downloaded for my laptop because I didn't have any game so I decided to change that. I opened the App Store and went to the Free section first as usual and this icon popped to my eyes.

Basically you have to save the planet earth by disposing little cannons that destroy meteorites which are trying to put an end to our planet. It's pretty simple to play you only use your mouse to point where the cannons must shoot.
Despite being easy to play (at least the laptop version) is supper addictive. I recommend you to try it out but then don't blame for not being able to stop ;)

Happy Birthday Jesse McCartney!

Jesse McCartney turns 25 today!
To be honest I almost forgot but one of my friends texted me saying something like "who is the cute guy that celebrates his birthday today?" and I automatically remembered. We used to have an "inside-joke" about Jesse McCartney when we were younger. Good times those.

Even though he has a new horror movie coming out this Summer I decided - why not? - to do a post with my favourite (so far) 10 songs of him.
First of all, beware because the crazy-fan-act is about to take control of my body ;)

Happy Easter!

I just want to wish you a happy easter if you celebrate it.

This image of Winnie The Pooh I think transmits easter's true essence. Because for me, at least, easter is the real start of Spring and this lovely image represents it all. The good times with family/friends having fun during a sunny day looking for eggs or just walking around happily.

Steve Madden MADEE-R Suede In Black

Heya!

I've been looking for a pair of flats/oxfords/Loafers/slippers or whatever you want to call it in black and with studs. When I finally see one pair I like online they're always sold out or are too expensive. There's evermore something that comes complicate everything and I end up buy not buying anything.
Until now, I hope. I found a pair by Steve Madden which are exactly what I want.

Aren't they lovely? And must be comfortable.
They are available in another colour, tan, in case you were wondering.
Oh, and you are probably asking how much they cost, well they cost $149.95.

Man On A Ledge

Hey!

Today I saw Man On A Ledge.

My brother went to see it when came out and said it was pretty good. At first I didn't believe in him because I didn't think Phone Booth was that great and I heard people saying this was under the same topic so I was a little skeptical about it.
But today my brother was watching it again and asked me if I wanted to keep him company and watch this film.
Well, my opinion says is better than Photo Booth with Colin Farrel, at least is more entertaining and not so "dramatic".

I think this trailer says too much but watch the entire film anyway.

I never thought I would see Sam Worthington and Jamie Bell as brothers but they're cool. Jamie Bell is so funny. I'm a fan of him since Jumper, because he's the coolest. And kind of cute. Oh, and is british.

Visit Calcutta

Hi!

My brother studies tourism in University therefore he shows me several videos on Youtube which countries or cities make as to promote and expand its own tourism and gain more tourists, obviously. The last he showed is the coolest thing ever. This time it was from Calcutta, India.

I think is incredible!! It's creative and works really well for the all audience.

Ted Trailer

Hello!

At first, when I saw all those gifs on Tumblr I had no idea what it was. Some weird bear running around and then jumping into bed with Mila Kunis and Mark Wahlmerg. Later I discovered it was from Ted. A film from the creators of Family Guy.

In spite of being stupid is super funny. I don't know how but I can't not laugh while watching this.

Jessie J - Nobody's Perfect

Heya!

I'm kind of obsessed with Jessie J right now. I always thought she was cool and a great singer but lately I've been listening to her songs non-stop.

I found this video of her singing Nobody's Perfect with the title "best live performance", that popped to my eyes and I automatically clicked and well, I totally agree.

I think nothing needs to be said.

Daria Werbowy - H&M 2012

Hey!

I'm starting to really think Blogger doesn't like me. It wasn't letting me log in until now.

God knows how many times I said I have a girl-crush on Daria Werbowy. I have several posts written about her that can prove I'm not kidding. I think she's absolutely gorgeous and talented.
I said as well I collect all catalogs from Stefanel that she's in and use them as poster on my bedroom's walls.

Well, she's in the Spring/Summer H&M ads once again and she looks stunning as usual.

I had never seen Daria dance, I think that's a reason why I like these videos so much. She looks amazing.

Lauren Kate: Rapture 1st Teaser

Hi!

I can't express with or without words how anxious I am for Rapture. I. Can't. Wait. God, if I could pass the time...

Ok, back to the post.
I'm away from the computer for a few days and the world turns into a wild place where everything is different and there's news everywhere.
Two days ago, Lauren Kate, the author of the Fallen series, posted the first Rapture teaser. In total there will be 3 videos.
I honestly don't know if this is a good or bad thing. Each day that ends we're closer to the very end... I can't think about it... I can't believe it's the end already and there won't be anymore Daniel and Luce nor Cam or any other character... That makes me sad.

But until then:

Torture. Is what this is.
