Hello!

Yesterday I could not write and for that I'm sorry.

It's super late and I'm studying for my last exam tomorrow.
Little fun fact about me: I can't study and be completely in silence, my ears start to make a zzzzz sound which is annoying. I just can't. Consequently, I try to choose some nice, smooth songs that would not distract me from my work.
Accidentally today I listened twice in a row to Moondance be sang by Michael Bublé and Jonathan Rhys Meyers.





I know one is a super talented singer and the other is a super talented actor. But I really enjoy both versions. Is just sad Jonathan's is so short...

They're called Pitt Broken and are amazing!! I really like their sound. Oh, and the vocalist besides having an original voice is cute. (Sorry I had to write that)

Vogue Paris - February 2012

Heya!

Today was such a bad day... Well, bad is probably too strong but was definitely not good. My exam went really well which is nice but that was it. The highest point of my day.
Maybe that wasn't the highest. Buying Vogue Paris probably was.

Because of Daria Werbowy, obviously.
Usually I don't buy Vogue Paris, mainly because my french is not great and it's expensive buying anywhere but there owing to all the taxes and that stuff. But to everything there's an exception, right? And this one was it.
She looks absolutely stunning in pretty much every picture. Ok, yeah, I know, when and where isn't she wonderful?!
The picture above is one of my favourites off all magazine's article. She looks happy and fearless...

Basically this was one more way for me to encourage my "girl-crush" on her.

Oh, and I loved it when they mixed Harry Potter and Dickens in the storyline. Pretty funny episode.

Nervous...

Hi!

Quick post. Just to inform you how bad my exam will go tomorrow.

This is me at this precise moment. True story.

And should absolutely be the opposite. Tomorrow is going to be so bad! I don't know anything... oh, God...

It's late. Not too late, though, normally I'd go to bed in 1-2 hours I think... but today that is not going to happen because in a few hours I have to be awake to study, take a shower and go to school which leaves me with so little time and so much to do!...

I'm nervous. I'm nervous, so nervous.

When It's Time

One of the most beautiful things on earth is the "magic" of music. Take this as an example, today when I was on the train after school, and today was such a stressful day, I turned my music on and just travelled around my playlist on shuffle mode. I like this. Mainly because I end up always earring something new or something I didn't remember which I think is one of the best feelings ever. The song I re-found today was When It's Time by Green Day. I haven't listened to this song for so long and honestly I don't know why because I love it. I love, love the lyrics. And because of that, today I'm going to post them. Imagine this as a love poem or some random text if you may.

Growing Up

As I said before, this month is complicated for me, mainly next week. Starting on 23rd until 31st. Exams every day which is the worst thing ever!
I can say I'm under a lot of pressure these days; school because my mum is paying it and if I don't pass every test I don't make it to next school year and that I do not want because she'd kill me and because I do not want that for me. Period. Than because right after the week-of-hell (as I like to call it) I start taking my driver's license. God, I couldn't be more nervous... I want to take it but I'm scared or maybe is more terrified. But on top of that I'm still having that "teenage-crisis" where I want to grow up even though I don't want to grow up. I know I'm complicated and there are people with way more serious problems than me but is tough, ok?

Green Day + John Varvatos?

Hell yes!

The 3 members of Green Day are the face for Spring/Summer collection of the amazing John Varvatos who has made two of my Converse-wish-list.
I know that is a menswear brand but there are some things for women as well. I'm a fan. But I'm a fan of Green Day, too. I don't understand how one can not like Green Day. Honestly I can't.
Anyway, they've made a video or maybe it is a commercial, either way it's amazing.

White Collar: Season 3 - Episode 11

Heya!

White Collar returned yesterday and after all the wait and torture it could not have been a better episode.

Was one of the bests episodes ever if not the best really. Ok, maybe was that I like this tv show so much that I missed it really bad but was so good!

Neil Caffrey who is Matt Bomer's character is so amazing! The part when he is fighting with the bad guy, who I don't remember his name now, and is "punched" with the Rafael painting is hilarious! And I like how he says Rafael, by the way.

The end was so bad... I mean in a terrible way to end the ep. If Neil is free he doesn't need to work with Peter which means their "broromance", as some people call it on the internet, ends and that is not good but obviously they are going to make something up for Neil to stay.

Can't wait for next Tuesday...

Mia Rose - Friends In Love (Music Video)

I don't like to post two (almost three) songs on a roll but today as an exception I'm gonna do it, sorry about that in advance.
Anyway, Mia Rose posted on her Youtube account the music video for Friends In Love.

And a fan you know I am, my opinion about the video is not the most positive, I mean is better than Let Go (and I don't want to be mean) but the video is cute and romantic and all that but I don't know something's missing... Maybe is just me who thinks that. Tell me if you agree with me in the comments I'd love to know if I'm the only one who thinks this.

Moving on, she looks pretty in almost every scene as she used us to and oh, even though this version of the song is little different I like both. The acoustic on her backyard and the studio.

Music Video: The Kids From Yesterday - My Chemical Romance

Today was a good day, yes, definitely, but my mood most of the day was pretty low.

When I got home I turned on my laptop and went to Youtube to check my subscriptions as I always do, the only difference was when I saw the new My Chemical Romance music video for The Kids Of Yesterday. Oh, my day couldn't be lower... Don't get me wrong, I love MCR from the deepest place on my heart as well as this song, the lyrics are amazing but when you're in those days when you want to be a teenager forever or at least a few more years but you can't and then rewind on all those past teenage years and notice they were wasted... on nothing... Oh, it just don't get better...

Anyway I called one of my best friends ever and she helped me (oh, she is helping me, we're still on the phone) to raise my mood.

So, the video was made by a fan who posted a fan-made video on Youtube and MCR saw it and than contacted and asked her if she would like to make the official music video for this song, how cool is that??!! Ahhh!!

The song just makes me think about this "crisis" I'm having and well it's kind of sad because the song is so amazing and now I will always remember that time when I saw the video for the first time I was half through a "teenage-crisis". This memory is going to be attached to the song forever... Great way to ruined it.

At this precise moment I'm on the phone with my friend who is almost as crazy as I am about Jace Herondale/Wayland/Mongernstern/Lightwood from The Mortal Instruments series written by Cassandra Clare.
So, as you can see by my wonderful list on your right about the upcoming book releases I'm anxious about there's the fifth book on the TMI saga which comes out on May 8th.
Recently the author showed us, the fans and followers its cover.

Here it is! I think I can say is the most wanted cover of the year. Probably...

Do you like it?

I do like it. I was expecting Magnus but Jace and Clary are fine by me. I like this Jace version better than the other one on the first book - City Of Bones.

I'm still on the phone and my friend knows how excited and anxious and hysteric I turned on the moment my eyes focused on the image. I turned immediately into a child screaming for every candy on a candy store. That cliche. Basically yes. That was what happened.

I'm going to shut up now because I don't want to be any more anxious and because during May I will write, I promise you, I will write about the book. A lot.

I really want to see it. I watched the first and liked very much therefore I can say I am excited to see this, mainly because it's about greek mythology and for that I am a sucker.

Gwen Hayes - Falling Under #2

Hi!

During the last 3 nights (because I've been forcing myself to only read at night) I've been reading the sequel of Falling Under: Dreaming Awake written by Gwen Hayes.

You can read the synopsis here.
So this is the second book on the series and I don't know yet if there's going to be third by, if you have read Dreaming Awake, you know that the end is a tortuous.

During the storyline I think some parts are a little... unnecessary, I mean all the lies... May be realistic comparing to real-life couples but after what they went through, these things could be... less... I have no idea if I'm making any sense but hey, they're a demon-couple what bother with minimal things?! Yes, I get the I'm-still-half-human-and-still-have-human-problems thing but...

Anyway, Haden is... oh, well... He's so sweet to say the least.

Maggie Stiefvater - The Scorpio Races

Hello!

I've been reading this for the last 3 nights and now it's done.

In case you don't remember or don't know Maggie Stiefvater wrote the Shiver trilogy. I read the 3 books and posted individually my opinion or review or whatever you want to call it. Even though my post on Forever is little... let's just say "incomplete". But just so you know I finished it 1 day after.

I found this book by accident. I wasn't aware of a new book written by the same author as Shiver but when I had an opportunity I caught mine and, well, read it.
At the beginning is a bit boring, to be completely honest but maybe that was because I don't like very much to read about horses... But when the story starts to unfold it becomes very interesting and captivating. When the important day, which is the day when they race, starts to approach it becomes less boring. And talking about the race, it's probably the longest and toughest race ever. At this point I was 100% caught in storyline that when I was at this part/chapter I was tired. Well, no tired like breathless but you know what I mean...
So, yeah, I did enjoy it very much. If you haven't already, try to find your copy and tell me your opinion ;)

I have no idea if there is going to be a sequel or not but by the closure I would say it is possible.

New Year's Eve (2011)

Heya!

Today I saw New Year's Eve.

With so many actors... Katherine Heigl, Ashton Kutcher, Lea Michelle, Sofia Vergara, Zac Efron, Josh Duhamel, Sarah Jessica Parker, Jessica Biel, Robert De Niro, Hale Berry and the list goes on...

These kind of movies like New York, I love You or Valentines Day sum up almost every comedy actor possible.

Yes, it was awkward to see this movie today when the real New Year's Eve was a week ago.

Anyway, it's fun. A little too cliche... maybe... but fun. Sofia Vergara has such a funny accent basically you'll laugh by anything she says.

I just ask one thing, why does Zac Efron to always kiss the older lady? Nothing against it but why? 17 Again and now... I'm just curious.

So, probably I'm the last person seeing this film, but if you haven't go watch it ;)

Daria Werbowy - Stefanel SS 2012

Hey!

How many times have I said how much I like Daria?
I've lost count.
How many times have I said how much I like Stefanel?
Too many to count, as well.

So when Stefanel picked Daria for being on their advertisements I could not be happier, I even posted or talked about some clothes I bought there last season.
Well, it seems they chose her again and for the looks I think this time will be even better. There's a behind the scenes video of the photoshoot of Daria and Mario Testino (whoo hoo!!!) doing what they do best in Morocco.

I hope they make a catalog so I can continue turning it into a poster once again, I love these photos! Mario never, never disappoints!

Claddagh Ring

Hi!

In Spellbound, the book written by Cara Lyinn Shultz, there's a part where Brendan gives a Claddagh ring to Emma I was totally "what on earth is a Claddagh ring?!". As uncultured as I am, I've never heard about anything like it. I finished the book and forgot at all about the ring with a strange name but today I was just checking what I've been reading for the last months when I ended up re-reading Spellbound and now, yes, I googled it.
I found a website called claddaghring.com which sells these famous rings. I searched around and they are as I imagined while reading the book. Although the "classic" model is not my favourite. I don't like the hands involving the heart however I found one I thought was really cute.

Tv Shows I'm Looking Forward To

One nice thing about the beginning of the new year is the tv shows. Usually they return, which for me is great because is the perfect way for my weeks to pass faster. Although they don't start on the first week, except this year Pretty Little Liars that returned yesterday, but most of the times it just don't happen. In my opinion is great because if you didn't follow every episode you can do now and the waiting won't be so long but if you followed you're being tortured since December until the second week of January. I hate that!
Today I will go through each one I'm going to watch on the next months.
I watch too many tv shows thus this post is going to be long.

Just Friends (2005)

My friend send me a text message basically asking "what are you supposed to do on the last day of holidays?" I said I didn't know. I don't know. I spent the whole day home watching movies with Ryan Reynolds and 90210. I know that's not the funniest thing to do but I wanted to stay home and do nothing because this month is going to be f*** up.
Anyway, this year I want to take one step at the time and don't worry about exams or any problem too soon as I used to.

So, I watched Just Friends today.

I've never heard about this movie until my brother said it was fun because he laughed really hard while watching the trailer thus I gave it a shot.

First of all and I know I'm repeating myself but Ryan Reynolds is really cute. Than, the movie is super funny although I think when he grows up and returns to New Jersey I think he should be more like what like he's in Los Angeles. In my opinion that's a little off. In LA he's super cool and gets every women he wants but when he returns, becomes the loser he was before. I don't know just didn't like it.

Oh well, super funny as I said. Watch it if you haven't already since it's from 2005 :S

Are We Growing Up Or Just Going Down?

Hello!

How was your first day in 2012?
Mine was quite peaceful. I listened to this song all day as I've been doing these last few days.

Fall Out Boy was and still is one of my favourite bands ever! I can't express with words how much I love their music. I'm can totally say I'm obsessed even though my obsession is always changing its intensity, either way I love how I can stay months without listening to any of theirs songs but than when accidentally catch just a second I become super happy and excited and the obsession returns. I can't complain I love that feeling. Although every time I go back to pick a song from the entire discography I choose always a different one. This time was a track from From Under The Cork Tree: Sophomore Slump Or Comeback Of the Year. I can't stop listening. The lyrics mean so much to me I can select some events and feelings from my life that are a perfect-match to these words sang by Patrick.

I hope they come back this year.
