Fiat 500 By Gucci

Heya!

If I wanted to I could've already started taking my drivers' license, but since my birthday is in 5 months I decided I have much time and wait just 3 months and then, yes, start with the lessons.
As I wrote here somewhere I want a Fiat 500, it's no secret. The car is super, super, super cute and not big which is always something I'm looking to.
So, a few months ago Fiat presented the new 500 by Gucci. Let me say that is way, way prettier live than on images on magazines or on Youtube.

Did you notice the sit belt? Adorable!
On this month's Vogue says it's "the most perfect car to go shopping". Well, I don't know if is just perfect to "shop". I think is perfect for everything. In every way. I mean, there isn't one imperfection. Nothing! Oh God, I want it SO bad!

Mon Chéri + Ferrero Rocher Commercial

Hey!

One thing I discovered today was that aren't many people uploading commercials on Youtube haha
This video was the only one I found with both - Mon Chéri and Ferrero Rocher - commercials from the early 2000's.

I'm more a Ferrero Rocher person than a Mon Chéri but these two ads were, and still are, part of my childhood. At least my Christmas childhood since they only appear on tv during Christmas time because the chocolate spoils with Summer's heat (how adorable?!).

So yes, this is just one more thing to make the most beautiful time of year even more beautiful and sweet ;)

The Body Shop - Cocoa Butter & Lip Stick

Hi!

Today's Friday. Thank you, God, although you could've make it passed faster...
Anyway, the manly thing is... it's weekend and I'm thinking about going to the The Body Shop.
I want to buy these two:

The famous Cocoa Butter Body Butter and the Cocoa Butter Lip Care Stick.

When I was younger I used to have always the Body Butter but then I finished it and never bought it again... :S
The Lip Stick I've never tried but I read some reviews and I'm interested, because as I wrote here many times, I'm always bitting my lip and is always dry.

I could write here all the reasons I want (again) the Body Butter. I could. But is such great product that I wouldn't stop until next July. But I am writing, alerting, remembering the non testing on animals policy which is super, super amazing, unlike some very expensive brands that do test their products on animals.
So, instead I'm going to link these two lovelies and tell you later if I actually bought them this weekend or not.

Have you tried any of them?

Phineas and Ferb - 'Animatin' Rap

Hello!

I discovered this video today.
It's a rap made by Dan Povenmire and Jeff 'Swampy' who are the animators of Phineas And Ferb.

I hope I'm not the only one who thinks this is hilarious...

Fate/Stay Night

Heya!

I started watching Fate/Stay Night.

I only watched the first episode which doesn't happen much therefore I don't know yet if I like it or not. Although I only read positive reviews about it.

Interested? Click here for more info.

So in the next days I'll be writing my opinion about this manga/anime series.

Anger

Anger is anger
Anger makes you scream
Anger makes you hate
Anger takes control
Anger want let go
Anger wants you to hurt
Anger wants you to suffer
Anger makes you mad
Anger makes you cry
Anger turns people against you

Oldest Book Shop In The World + 50 Photo Icons

Hey!

Fact: I'm a book lover. That is not a secret.
One of my favourite things to do is to open a book or enter on a library or a book shop and smell that old-leather-and-papper scent. I love it! If they sold it on bottles I'd definitely buy a few...

So today I and one of my friends that is a bit like me, went to the oldest book shop in the entire world!

Here you can see the shop around the year of 1732 when was founded and nowadays.

I'm sure you're thinking if I'm going to talk about the so-talked smell. Well, obviously, yes. Doesn't smell as I thought it would. It not that deep-old scent, is soft and not annoying.
I made a promise: for now on I'm only going to buy books there. I even made the "client-card"...

As you might have think already I did buy something there, was nothing with angels nor shadow-hunters. Just this book I already wrote here about.

Finally I have it and am not thinking about let it alone on the shelf that soon. Maybe I chose my favourite and write here what it says... let's see...

Now just need the other -> Fashionisto.

Jonathan Rhys Meyers - This time

Hi!

Today I'm in a weird mood. It's a mix of let's-conquer-the-world and let's-go-to-bed-and-never-leave. Even though is a normal state in me, today just feels...weirder...
I think I just need something new to get excited and anxious about that can make the days flew by me without leaving any trace.

When this status is on I usually try to surround myself with people and not be alone or watch a movie but when that doesn't feel right, I try to listen to some positive, calm music. For example Michael Bublé's Feeling Good is always a top choice.
Unfortunately today it seems to not be working, God knows why. I was looking around for another song on Michael's discography and ended on Moondance which remembered me of August Rush that consequently remembered me of how much I liked This Time be sang by Jonathan Rhys Meyers. Although I don't know if the songs is qualified with a positive vibe but I could not stop listening to it all day.

I didn't find any good video with the part where he sings, so despite being in Italian and almost be the entire trailer the mainly thing is the song.
I love how he's accent turns it different and unexpected and he isn't all beauty, he can sing! If the acting doesn't work anymore he could perfectly become a musician that he'd survive pretty well haha

Michael Bublé - Lost

Hello!

I don't know if is nostalgia because one year ago I saw him live or because he released Christmas but recently I seem to can't stop listening to Mr. Michael Bublé. I'm not complaining, though.

When I decided to write about him today I thought about adding a song to the post, and chose Lost. I could've choose Home, which is one of my favourites, or Everything or even Song For You but Lost seem to fit in the mood so here it is:

Michael Bublé - Lost

The song has just such a great message... and something that goes completely unnoticed is his voice, right? Yeah, just a regular, common voice... haha ;)

Restless

Heya!

Today I saw Restless.

With Alice from Tim Burton's Alice In Wonderland. I only saw that film with her and now Restless. I didn't know what to expect because I didn't see the trailer or anything just the poster. Once again, that's my way to chose the films I watch :S

It's a drama, so, obviously is very dramatic. A girl with cancer that has 3 months left live that falls for a guy who is deeply damaged. No parents and he see's ghosts or rather just only one who was a japanese kamikaze. So I hope you expect deep, strong feelings on range that can make you cry. I didn't. But if you're too sensitive you might.

I liked it. But I like these kind of dramas, don't know why though.

One Day

Hey!

Today I saw One Day with Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturguess.

I happen to watch this without any intention to. I've never read the book or heard anything of it (shame...). I saw this poster and played it with that why-not thought. I really like the image. It's cute. Romantic and understandable how girls are girly and boys are boyish, if that makes any sense.
I didn't know Anne Hathaway was the main character or any detail about the movie. Truth is I just liked the poster and yeah let's watch it.

So, I had no idea of the storyline therefore when I started I thought it was just another romantic movie. Just like any other. But no. That little fact (not so little, honestly) that happens toward the end.... wow... that's different and sad.

I searched for some opinions or reviews that compered both. The book and the adaptation to film. The opinions are divided by "yeah, great" and "no, the book is so much better...", well that happens always haha By that I don't know what to think.

Something that intrigues me sometimes is why do they chose american actors to be british?! Honestly I don't know why... Although Anne Hathaway was great. At the beginning is quite weird to hear her talk like that but after some time I got used to it.

I was thinking about read the book but I don't like watch the film first so... I don't know yet.

Great romance.
Go watch it if you haven't and tell me your opinion in the comments ;)

xx

PS - I don't know why but Blogger is messing up my posts' dates, today's 17th and he puts 16th... weird.

Kimberly Derting - The Pledge

Hi!

As you know by my always-growing  list on the right side of the blog, on November 15, the new book written by Kimberly Derting - The Pledge - came out.
I expressed many, many times how much I seriously adore the The Body Finder novels. She has a way to write that can easily make you feel like you're there. Inside the book with the characters.
So by that you can imagine how I felt when I discovered she was releasing a new book. Clearly, I did everything I could do read this book as soon as possible.

Yes, less than 24h.

First thing: the cover. Very mysterious, right? I don't know why but I remembered Aeon Flux (Nothing similar but I remembered this) :S
Anyway, I did enjoy it very much! It's super easy to read. I think, though, is super thin, I could read about Charlie and Max way more hours but I think the idea is making a sequel...

I liked from the bottom of my heart that that was nothing supernatural. No vampires. No werewolfs. No wizards. No shape-shifters. I mean, there's some things that don't happen on real life but nothing matching any other book we found in every shelf on the Young-Adult section.

Now, I'm waiting for the sequel.

"For Gifts You Can't Wait To Give" - Commercial

Heya!

I saw this video on Tumblr. If it wasn't because of what somebody wrote underneath I'd have scroll over without even think twice and losing something adorable. So, thanks to that "comment" I can share this here with the people who lose time time reading what I write here.

The video is the commercial for this years's Christmas from John Lewis Retail.

Yes, it is. "The most adorable Christmas 2011 ad so far."

Hans Christian Andersen - The Complete Fairy Tales

Hey!

Hans Christian Andersen, have you heard anything about him?
I'm sure your answer will be yes, therefore I'm skipping the presentation.

I'm seriously thinking about buying the complete collection with all the well-known stories like The Little Mermaid, following the thought I went online looking for some not boring-different-cute version of the book. After sometime searching I found this adorable example:

Isn't the sweetest thing in the entire world?!
I love how it really seems like it just came out off its own stories and it's purple, obviously, always something important and relevant.

I think this version is exclusive for Barnes & Noble because was the only place where I found it.
Now, the price: $18. Well for the complete collection and the prettiest cover ever I think is cheap but I didn't touch it or anything thus I don't know the quality and if the price is so low maybe it's because the quality is lower. Anyways, if you're interested go here. There are reviews of other people who have bought the book and shared their opinion which is always helpful even though sometimes these opinions confused me because of the distinct judgements... :S

GG: Chuck's Apology To Blair

Hello!

This week I didn't watch any tv show because I had no time so today I'm watching them all. The Secret Circle is turning better every episode. The Vampire Diaries was intense, the end was... Let's just say I can't wait for the next episode. Next was Gossip Girl. Gossip Girl is one of that shows I love to see but is always the same even though every time I watch an episode I like it even more. Anyways, this week's ep was great.

I'm "team Serena and Nate" (or whatever you want to call it) but that seems impossible at this time.
Oh well, towards the end of the ep, there's a scene with Chuck and Blair where he apologizes to her. If a guy came to me and apologized the way he did... oh god!
It's the sweetest thing ever!!

He says: "I'm here to apologize about everything else. I'm sorry for losing my temper (...). I'm sorry for not waiting longer (...). I'm sorry for treating you like property. I'm sorry I didn't tell you I loved you when I knew I did. And most of all I'm sorry that I gave up on us when you never did."

How many girls are waiting for an apology like this?

Lauren Kate - Fallen In Love + Rapture

Heya!

A few weeks ago I added this new book - Fallen In Love - by Lauren Kate to my Upcoming Books I Want To Read list. Comes out in January which is totally awesome to kill some excitement until the last book on the Fallen saga - Rapture.

This past week the author showed us - the suckers for Luce and Daniel - both covers.

Fallen In Love: I was expecting something like this for Rapture. I mean the patron maintains... The same dress, the same girl even the scenario is similar. But no.

Don't get me wrong I really, really like it but... white dress?...

I showed this to one of my friends and she said "maybe it's a way of telling us they get married...". Well, I don't know that. Maybe she's right. Maybe she isn't. I have no idea. But maybe the change of colour means something important to the storyline... (Of course it means something important!)

Off all the covers, the one I disliked the most was the third - Passion - it's weird. And now seeing these two puts me thinking "whoa, the time flew so fast. it's almost the end and I'm worried about the covers?!". Lame.

I don't want to get too much into these books already because when they'll really come out I won't stop thinking and talking about anything else. As usual.

So, tell me which one is your favourite in the comments ;)

Spellbound + Spellcaster -> Cara Lynn Shultz

Hey!

I didn't have a book to read during these last couple of tough weeks, which was a torment. I must tell that when I'm reading a book the days pass faster. That's something I like.

Well then, I read Spellbound by Cara Lynn Shultz in less then 24 hours.

It was definitely a non-stop-reading-book. Because I could not stop. It's super addictive. Super addictive.

It's basically about a girl who have had a pretty bad life and goes living with her aunt in New York. There she meets Brendan, a boy that she almost instantly falls for. Later she discovers she's a reincarnation of a woman who was killed because fell in love with a upper crust men. But every time their reincarnation meet she dies due to the curse. Now, she's the woman and Brendan is the man.
"What's a girl to do when meeting The One means she's cursed to die a horrible death?"

The book could end with this one. But there'll be a second - Spellcaster:

I didn't find anything about the storyline but I'm hoping that until the release day some kind of preview will come out.

The cover says "She found true love... but can she keep it?".
Honestly if it is to get worse it's not worth it.
It's such a lovely love story that sort of "hurts" if they don't end together or somehow somewhere in between they fight and break up. If that is what the second book will be about... They break up and are the entire book apart just to be together in the end, thanks but no, thanks. Some people online were saying that... I hope from the bottom of my heart it won't be like that.

There's an amazing playlist during the first book. The author has a pretty good taste, I must say. Blink-182? My Chemical Romance? Paramore? The Who? Seems like something I'd write haha
You can buy Spellbound's playlist on iTunes, here, and be friends with Brendan on Facebook, here. Which is funny.
Spellcaster has a playlist as well, hereVersaEmerge, A Day To Remember, New Found Glory, The Academy Is..., Forever The Sickest Kids, Blink-182 and Paramore again. Seriously?! ;D

Pursuing The Perfect Pair Of Flat Boots

Hello!

So I was surfing around the internet on those websites like NeimanMarcus.com searching for the perfect pair of flat boots. Obviously I didn't expect to find something super cheap but I was hoping for something at least somehow affordable. I'm going to go through my favourites and you'll see what I'm talking about. Let's start then:
  • Christian Louboutin Studden Motorcycle Boot:

Yes, I wasn't stupid enough just to look on Neiman Marcus. I had to choose Christian Louboutin. But honestly?! They are absolutely gorgeous! If I had $1.995 I don't know if I'd buy them, though. They are a little too expensive for what they are. Although, again, they are stunning! More information here.
  • Alberto Fermani Buckle Flat Bootie:

Totally simple but totally edgy! I love how versatile they can be. I can imagine many outfits I could wear with these little boots. It's just me or they have a bit of "biker" style? They cost nothing less then $450. More info here.
  • Jimmy Choo Quartley Sherling Lined Suede Boots:
Aren't they the most confortable-and-smooth-looking boots ever?? They even have the option to fold the cuff to turn them more comfy.  I think if I had the money right now I would buy them without a doubt. But unfortunately I don't have $795 to give for a pair of boots... More info here.

Of course I went to conventional stores like H&M but I didn't find anything that I'd say "I want to buy them!". I didn't find any pair that would make me want to spend my money on them which is a big shame.
But I'll keep my quest. That's for sure.

xx
