Jazz It Up

I've been away for more than a month so I decided to write something in order to update the blog accordingly to my actual life.
Summer went by and I almost didn't see it. It just passed by me in such a hurry that I was unable to say hi. It's September already and classes are around the weekend. How did this happen? Time doesn't fly, time runs like Flash (DC Comics) or Sonic.

What I remember most about these last 3 months was how much fun I had.
Music was such a big part of my days like it used to be a few years ago and I missed having constant music around me. If you're wondering what song was my jam this Summer, well it's between Get Lucky (obviously) and as unbelievable as it may seem Birthday by Selena Gomez. I don't know why but that song just keeps me pumped. It's an empowering song for girls, so I guess that's why.

Autumn is almost here, so that's a good thing. For sure. How I miss the rain and the cold wheather...
Another good thing is the fact October is around the corner and that means each day I'm a step closer to seeing You Me At Six live for the first time. I CAN'T WAIT! I'm so anxious and excited... Just thinking about it... I don't know why, though, because I've never been this "emotional" with a concert before so I just hope I don't get any disappointments in the end. That would be awful.

I want - this time I'm serious - to write more often on this blog. It's been unattended for too long.

Lindsay Ribar - The Art Of Wishing

Hey!

I've been gone for God knows how long, but life has been tough.. I'm not gonna lie. But now that Summer's here I'm hoping I can go back to the way things used to be. I'm not saying I'm going to start writing a post per day but I'm sure as hell will try to at least publish 2-3 post per week, I think that's enough improvement for starting.

So, as a welcome-back post I decided to do a book review. I sure missed those. Get ready because even though I have a few dozens of books to review here from last year I'm doing The Art Of Wishing by Lindsay Ribar which I read last month.

He can grant her wishes, but only she can save his life.

Margo McKenna has a plan for just about anything, from landing the lead in her high school play to getting into a good college. So when she finds herself in possission of a genie's ring and the chance to make three wishes, she doens't know what to do. Why should she put her life into someone else's hands?

But Oliver is more than just a genie - he's also a sophomore at Margo's high school, and he's on the run from a murderer. As he and Margo grow closer, she discovers that it will take more than three wishes to save him.

I realized I had never read anything about genies so that's when I put some serious effort on my search for this subject I discovered this book and then I noticed how cool the cover was and well there was nothing that could be done about it. This would be the first book I was going to read about genies.

Da Vinci's Demons

Hi!

I've been obsessed with Da Vinci's Demons since it started which was what, 4 weeks ago, yes. It's been an "obsessed" month.

If you don't know what this tv show is about well it's about Leonardo Da Vinci's young life as an inventor, architector, engineer, painter and mainly being a total badass, let's be honest.

I'm sure I shouldn't be saying this but Tom Riley is just so amazing as Leonardo... I had imagined his kind of behavior on someone like Raphael but I'm so fine with this version of Da Vinci. So, Tom Riley is adorable as hell, I can't even... and all that leather... Jesus!
Oh and talking about leather, I WANT THAT JACKET! I've been looking everywhere for that precious piece of clothing and guess what, I haven't found anything, any brand, nothing! But then, yesterday Henry V Part I was playing on tv and Tom Hiddleston was running around with one exemplar just like Leonardo's and I had a little freak out because that means it isn't made just for Da Vinci, right? Well, I just hope this is true.
It just looks worn-out and so amazingly cool.
Do you know where I can buy it? Or at least, the brand? I'd be forever grateful to whoever could tell me...

It's My Birthday!

Hello!

My last weeks have been a whirldwind with exams which ended last Friday and amazingly at the same day I had a birthday party. We went clubing and let me just tell you I hadn't had fun like that in such a long time... We are definitly repeting that asap and that's a promise.

So today it's my 19th birthday.

I'm not doing anything fancy, just staying home with my family and enjoying some relaxing time after a rough past week.
I feel old. God, I can't believe is my last year as a teenager... Jesus, where did time go?!

Well, I decided that if this is my last year as a teen I should enjoy it as much as I can therefore I'm doing something diferent everyday. Some days I'm sure it's going to be something small but I'm hoping for some big events coming from myself this next year. I thought about buying a little notebook and writing down all those new things my life is about to receive, let's just hope I can do that.

Thus, all I have to say is... here's to the new last old (if that maskes sense).

My Chemical Romance Ends

Hey!

As the world knows last Friday the members of My Chemical Romance wrote on their official website that the band was ending.
Well, they were one of favourite bands and I didn't get to see them playing live so yeah I'm pretty upset. So as my sad goodbye I decided to post my most played live video. That way we - I - can pretend they played one final concert.

I love this song!! Has such inspirational lyrics.

If the music stays the artist never dies, isn't that what they say?

Moleskine

Hi!

I can't express with words or any other way how much I like Moleskines.
Since I learnt how to write I've became obsessed with writing. I love to write. If I'm watching a film or a tv show on my laptop I'm doodling or writing my favourite quotes from what I'm seeing at that moment, this can be odd but true. I have to have a notebook nearby my computer because I'm always in need to write something. Now add my love for reading and you can easily understand my love for Moleskines.

If you know what a Moleskine is I don't need to tell you about what makes these notebooks so cool, special and unique, but if you don't know, I'm not going to be the one to spoil it, so get dressed now and go buy one then read the bonus content. I assure you it'll be worth it.
Yes, of course you can read it online and stay on your pyjamas but would that be fun? (I know you answered yes)

My first Moleskine was given me by my dad and was the one that has little squares for drawing little stories like comics. I'm terrible at drawing (unfortunately) but I tried to, even though it ended on some weird things let me tell you it was fun.
The only bad thing about these little books is the price. They're a little expensive. I know they have impecable quality and one of these will last all my life but still sometimes it pains me to give that money for a notebook. Thus, imagine my face when I discovered they made an app.

So basically on this app you can create as many notebooks as you'd like in any form like plain, ruled, squared, weekly planner, storybook and passion recipe. You pick one, then decide what you want it to be called and what colour you want it to be. Delete is super easy in case you don't want it anymore.

I already have it on my iPad and I'm enjoying it. I don't have to run to a shop when it ends. Even though I'm not going to stop buying them. They are too meaningful for that.

Yesterday was published on Youtube the complete lyric video for the new single from Michael Bublé.

Despite the mixed comments I read online, I actually like the song. It's not my favourite but sure is fun and cute and obviously happy. I really can't wait for the ballads that I hope will be on this next album. April, where are you?!

I want to be a better blogger and write more frequently just like I used to. I really do, so let's just hope I have enough subjects to publish about.
I'm starting with a new book-post. This time is The Marked Son written by Shea Berkley.

Fall Out Boy Returns

Hi!

Yup. That's what I wrote on Tumblr.

After 3 years Fall Out Boy is back with a new single, album and tour.
HOW UNBELIEVABLE IS THAT?

So this is the first single - My Song Knows What You Did In The Dark (Light Em Up) - the album is called Save Rock And Roll and comes out May 6/7.

About the song... as someone said on Youtube this isn't saving Rock and Roll, honestly, it isn't. True. But it's somehow catchy and I think that was the idea.

Well I have to confess that when I saw the fuss on Tumblr I started flipping out and I shredded a tear. Can you believe that? I hadn't cried for any band before. I guess it happened because this last weekend I thought about FOB and when would they come back and then Monday comes and bam!
This band branded so deeply my teenage years that I can't even explain...

That's enough for now. Let me just finished saying that I hope the rest of the album isn't like this.
But either way, I'm pretty happy. Maybe now I'll able to see them life for the first time. If that happens someday I think I might pass out. I'm serious.

Exit Vine #1

Hello!

A few days ago I wrote a post about a new web-series created by Reb Bull Music which Mia Rose has apart in it.
Well, here's the first episode.

What did you think?
After all I said on that first post I'm surprisingly enjoying it. I did really like the music that Encore sings at 4:26 and the little video with Mia showing her british accent was really funny. It's a shame she lost hers.

To sum this up, I'm going to follow this. At least until it's entertaining.

New In: Converse Chucks

Heya!

This past week, I think it was 2 or 3 days ago I bought two new pairs of Converse Chuck Taylors All Stars. I just put all names together... Oh well.

Here are the new members of my little Converse family:

When I entered the shoe shop to buy a new pair I was just with the idea of buying the usual: black hi-top. Classic. Because mine are really in need of a replacement but as you see I ended up buying two pairs and none is black and the reason for why is simple. They were sold out and these were the only ones they had in my shoe number.

So I had a little fun and did a little "photo-shoot" with the two. The hi-top is in the colour Nectarine and the low-top in Parasailing. At least this is what's written on its boxes.

I already wore the nectarine one but I am yet to use the green one but right now I'm pretty satisfied with both.

Mia Rose - Exit Vine

Hey!

As I said countless times I'm a Mia Rose fan because she can sing and she's been on Youtube forever so yeah, I like her.

The other day my friend asked me if I had seen the trailer for her new web-series. I didn't even know that she was doing anything acting-related so you can imagine my surprise.
Then my friend passed me the link and here it is, the trailer for Exit Vine.

So I guess that's way she wrote on Twitter she was in L.A. Makes sense now ;)

The first episode airs Monday and the question is: are you going to watch this?
Honestly I don't know. Because the idea isn't anything new we all have seen that movie Band Slam or something and that seems to be similar to this but I want to see how Mia can do...
Well, as I said to my friend, maybe I'll see the first episode and then decide to continue or not.

Jus Accardo - Touch

After nine posts, here I am doing a book review. I missed doing this. Here we go.

During the first week of last August I read Touch by Jus Accardo which is the first book on the Denazen series.

Dreamworks: Turbo

Dreamsworks is releasing a new animated film this Summer and let me tell you, by this trailer I'm pretty sure it'll turn into a favourite.

Hugo Boss - Red Means Go

A few weeks ago I wrote about the new Hugo Boss perfume with the one and only Jared Leto. And recently they released the advertisement.

If you remember the last two he made for the brand as I do, I'm going to say I prefer the first. In this one he does look amazing but the last minutes when he passes through all the red lights it's kind of awkward.

Either way, I'm sure I'll end up buying it. When I do, I'll post something here.

Chapter 2013

Hello!

I'm sorry for my lack of posting during Christmas break but I was so stressed with school that I felt I deserved a well rested few days. I confess that they were over too soon because tomorrow school starts again and well I don't feel like do it all over again.
But let's not talk about that right now, tomorrow I can dramatize all I want about that.

This was something that made me even more motivated to make this year count and don't waste it because life does pass you by pretty quickly thus you better try to make something out off it while you're able. 

So today is page 2 in 365. I'm going to count this year this way, just to obliged myself to be more productive.
