Heya!

Started watching The Voice UK.

I thought I should start with the USA version but when I search there were so many episodes that I lost my will. I'm lazy, ok?

It premiered last Saturday which clearly means there's only one episode so far. Let me tell I laughed while watching. They're all funny. If you don't watch it for the soon-to-be professionals singers watch it for Jessie J, Will.i.am, Tom Jones and Danny O'Donoghue from The Scrip ^_^

Maybe later I'll gain courage and watch the USA version. People on Tumblr say it's so fun...

Dean Martin & John Wayne & Ricky Nelson

Hi!

I already expressed my admiration for James Dean, Frank Sinatra, Fred Astaire, Elizabeth Taylor and so many more. They were all so talented.
But today I'll talk about somebody else but not less talented - Dean Martin. He is one of the greatest actors/singers ever. I don't think anyone could say the opposite.

I found this video with a scene from the famous Rio Bravo where Dean Martin or as some people like to call him The King Of Cool, John Wayne and Ricky Nelson do a sing-a-long to My Rifle Pony And Me that is definitely... I don't have words... It's brilliant!
The only bad thing is the length... Too short. I could listen to this for hours.

Proenza Shouler Camera Case

Hello!

3 months ago I wrote I was looking for a cute camera case and the only ones I found was on a Japanese website. I didn't buy one therefore I'm still looking.

Now imagine my excitement when I found these lovelies.

Aren't they so cute?
My favourite is the orange.

Some people online say this can be used as a clutch or for saving your camera. I have a Nikon thus I'm not sure if it would fit but it's adorable.

The only bad thing is the price. It costs $1850. Yeah, not so lovely...

But then again, I don't know if I would buy it because in a few weeks I bet every blogger has one. I'm not fan of cloning... So I think I'm going to keep looking for another pretty case.

Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol

Heya!

I saw Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol today.

My humble opinion says it's much better than the third.

Tom Cruise who returns as Ethan Hunt makes it easier for you to want to be cool like him. He's like the coolest guy ever; follows the bad guys during a sandstorm in the middle of Dubai, climbs one off the highest skyscrapers in the world just using some high-tech gloves... He does it all and more without any extra super-power haha But as much as I liked this fourth film my favourite still is the M:I - 2. It's the best ;)

Like I said, the third wasn't as good but despite that the cast was pretty great. Jonathan Rhys-Meyers and obviously Ving Rhames who for some unknown reason only enters for a few minutes on this fourth film on the Mission: Impossible series.

Oh, and of course the BMW prototype didn't pass by me without me saying "wow!"

Good Headphones

Hey!

At this time when everybody seems to have those big headphones that our parents didn't want and brands make deals with famous rappers to sell them I think I need ones but to use them for what they're made for: listen to my favourite songs with good quality and not because it's "cool". That was the only reason that made people buy them before this big marketing-thing.

I know Beats by Dr. Dre are the most wanted headphones at the moment but I still believe quality is superlative to looks which means if I end up buying anything at all I'll probably buy Koss headphones. Because they believe in quality above all. I know they might not have the most stylist design or the most vibrant colours but they're good and some are not as expensive.

If you go the official website you'll see they have more than headphones like the normal ones: earbuds and in-ear. I'm sorry Koss, but I love my Apple earbuds from the bottom of my heart, they are durable, not too much expensive and don't hurt my ears even if I'm rocking around with them for hours and by that I'm very thankful.

Dogeared Karma Silver Necklace

Hi!

I've been wanting a karma necklace for a while.
Now I've found one pretty simple and with a clean design. Everyday I use a hamsa hand so I wanted something not too flashy because I want to keep the hamsa hand with its presence on my chest. So that is why I think the Dogeared one is perfect.

The one I chose is the sterling silver one in 18 inches and costs $62, here.
It's a little expensive, but it's handmade and it's silver.

Switched At Birth

Hello!

I started watching Switched At Birth.

This started last Summer and then I honestly thought it was kind of lame. I thought it was nothing new. I thought it was some girls who were sisters and were separated and when they born.
Oh well, I was wrong for a change haha
They were actually switched at the hospital. Silly me for not reading with attention...

I think the idea of one being deaf is really clever, because this can alert us and make us more careful about people with these types of problems. I'm enjoying watching the sign language even learning some ;)

I think Josh did great on the lyrics. I love the lyrics.

Footloose (2011)

Hey!

I had a lot of doubts about watching this film or not. Because usually the remakes are so bad that they end poisoning the original.
I defend a theory: if you're going to do it badly, don't do it. Because why bother mess up something that was good by itself?!
The Footloose remake came out last October and I watched it today, as I see it, this defends my theory.

Like I said on previous posts if someone asks me in which time I'd like to live I always answer the 50's. I wish I was alive at that time because people seemed happy and always ready to have fun and forget their problems. Therefore I'm intrigued by everything that happened and everybody who was important during those 10 years.
Like Marilyn Monroe. Today she still is an icon for girls something I think is super cool. But for me she  was never... I don't know how to explain this, but I never was the biggest fan thus I think that was the reason why I extended for weeks seeing this film.

Without being a ABBA fan I still have my moments. I went to the premiere of Mamma Mia, so that was one of them.
This song is one of my favourite off them.

Warm Bodies - Issac Marion

Funny story today.
Last week I went to my local bookshop to chose my next obsession when I saw an interesting cover that popped into my eyes instantly.
I said this many times before I hate when people pick a book just because its cover is pretty or interesting and I hate doing so but this time I was unable to control myself.
By the title you know the book I'm talking is Warm Bodies by Issac Marion.

Ikea Scented Candles

Hi!

During the weekend I went to Ikea.
Ikea is some place where my family and I go to several times. Sometimes twice a day. My bedroom furniture is almost everything from there so I think you already understood that Ikea is very popular in my life.
So, I went to the nearest department and bought a pack of 3 candles among other items.

I love to light a candle and its scent to spare around my bedroom. I alway have one on. These Tindra Ljuv as they called it, are perfect. Their scent is sweet without being too much.

The first from the left smells like my mother's chocolate brownies. The middle one smells like caramel and the white smells like cinnamon, in case you were wondering.
The package has 3 images of deserts above each one representing its smell. The darker brown as a slice of chocolate cake. The second has a square of pudding with caramel sauce. The last has some cookies. I think they all represent pretty well each scent.

The first I used which is on right now was the white. When on the scent is not so concentrated as before, though.

I love the Minions. They're so funny! It's impossible not to love them.

Frankenweenie

Hi!

I almost did watch the short film once but don't know why just never did. Shame I know.
So, the trailer for Tim Burton's Frankenweenie is out and I could not be more excited as I am to see this.

I think comments aren't necessary. It says it all.

I like this version of Tim's work. His old work is classic. Simply amazing. I'm a huge fan.

My brother showed me this and I thought is was so funny that I decided to post the video so maybe you can laugh and enjoy this.

Who on earth doesn't like the Muppets?
Exactly nobody.
I haven't seen the film yet but when I was little I saw some episodes and obviously they marked my childhood as many other person's.

I think these guys are the only "people" in the world who can joke about an amazing song and is totally acceptable.
