Essence - Black Fatal

Hello!

Recently I bought the black Fatal nail polish by Essence.

I'm loving it!

I only paint my nails with black, the darkest purple I found, "black cherry" (if that is even a colour name) and any shade of blue. I don't like reds or pinks.

All my blacks were never shinny and I'd pass a thousand times just to be more "shimmery" which turned to be the worst thing ever because the polish chips faster that it normally would when you pass one or two times. But this one is awesome! It's super shinny and stays for days, mine is already 5 days and still looks great and most important thing: the price. Super cheap.

I think I found my black.

Don't you wish you could erase some memories?
Just the bad ones. The ones you close your eyes and think about them and then open them up and try to focus on something else, just because it hurts only to think about. They weigh on your shoulders and never lose weight.
We should be able to delete them.
But what doesn't kill makes you stronger, right? So try don't think about it. (Even though it's hard, because they always find a way to come to "remember" you)

Hello!

Last night 90210 and Gossip Girl returned from their break.
I was pretty excited about 90210 because I thought finally Liam and Annie would figure things out.
But no!

I know it has to have drama and all that, but at this time it's enough.

Gossip Girl is Gossip Girl - always drama. I was expecting a worst episode, and after all was good. Not bad.

I'm going to watch Pretty Little Liars, now. I'm really into it.

I'm loving playing the new COD (Call Of Duty - Black Ops) on PS3.

For who don't know what I'm talking about, it's a war game. But in this one, I think this is the 4th, they added some awesome features which makes it even cooler than the previous.
The graphics are amazing! The game is so real, it's almost like you are really there.
It's a great game.

Footloose

Hey!

Yesterday, I watched, again, Footloose.

In 1984, Kevin Bacon was so cute, he was so thin, I love his hair in this movie. Nowadays, he's, what, 55? Maybe.

Musicals aren't my favourite kind of films but Footloose has something that makes me watch it until the end when it's on tv or something like that.

I don't know what else to say. The storyline is quite simple, a boy from Chicago goes to a small town somewhere on the south and tries to break the law that prohibits teenagers to dance and have fun. Basically that's it.

They are making a remake, right? I think I read it somewhere... I don't know who's going to be the main characters, but I hope whoever will make Kevin's character have the same or similar style and look he had.

After, God knows how long I took me to read 13 Reasons Why, now I'm reading I Am Number 4.
I confess I only downloaded the book because Alex Pettyfer is the main character in the movie, but now forget about it, the book is super addictive!

The film hits theaters on February 18, so I have to read it quickly, before the release date. I can't wait for this movie.

Fallen Saga

Hi!


So today's afternoon I was in my bedroom with nothing to do and kinda boring, when I remember to re-read Lauren Kate's Torment. As I said here already, I really liked the Fallen saga. I'm not into vampires, I never was, (although I watch The Vampire Diaries) but in angels, yes, I am.
Like I was saying, I started re-reading it and the feeling of "can't wait for the third! Why isn't June already?" popped again into my mind. I'm really excited about the third!
Just thinking about the end of the second I wonder what is going to happen on the next one.

Recently Lauren Kate showed the cover for the third book - Passion - which comes out June 12.
She wrote about the book: "When I first started writing Passion, I knew the series was bursting into some very exciting uncharted territory. This chase backwards through time, with each chapter set in a different country and a different century across five thousand years is undoubtedly the most romantic, most intense, most... passionate book I've ever written - and I think you'll agree it has the cover to match. Honestly, I didn't like that much the cover of Passion. It's weird. Torment has my favourite cover, without a doubt, I love the dress, her hands on her hair and the fact that we don't see her face.
I read somewhere that Fallen is turning into a movie, well, I hope not! Because everytime they turn a book into a film is always disappointing, like Angels and Demons by Dan Brown. The film was so bad comparing with the book.
I just don't want to go to the cinema happy because I'm going to see the characters that I've been reading about for almost 2 years and get out sad because it sucked.
On YouTube are several trailers about Fallen and Torment, for each one is available the US version, the UK and I think Australia has that too, but I'm not sure. I hope they do the same for Passion..

The packaging is beautiful! I love the fact that is a "diamond" but in gold. I like when a product fascinate me for its design and makes me want to search about how it was made and from where the first idea came, it's just a great feeling, and that was what happened to me with this perfume.
I think I'm going to wear it everyday for the rest of my life, well, at least in next few days that's what I'm going to smell.

And in the site if you click on "Reveal the Lady in you" you go to a black and gold jackpot where you see your quote of the day.
The website is awesome! Has really cool features.

The commercial features Dree Hemingway and Matt Gordon (He's sooo cute!!) which makes the men version - One Million.

I Shopped 'Til I dropped

Hey!

I had an amazing day. School went well and then all day shopping! Yey!

I mainly went to Schlecker, Lush, M.A.C., H&M, Levi's, Sephora, Starbucks and a hand full of names of another thousand stores.

First stop Schlecker. I bought some hair stuff, nothing special.
Second stop Lush. I got Trichomania, Dragoons Egg and a Lip Dip lip srub.
Third stop M.A.C. I thought it would have the perfect travel case for my brushes and guess what, I was right. I love it!
Fourth stop H&M. I needed a pair of jeans and found some really comfy in there.
Fifth stop Levi's. I bought a denim jacket. So cute!
Sixth stop. Sephora. Brushes cleanser.
Seventh stop Starbucks. Caramel macchiato, obviously. My favourite!

What an awesome way to finish the week, don't you think?!

I'm Going Green With Myself

Hi!

One think I want to do in 2011 is to eat healthier. I don't want to lose weight (I don't mind, but that's not the point).

I mean, I just want to give less harmful nutrients or whatever to my body. "Healthy body, healthy mind", like the old greeks would say, I totally believe in this, think about it, if you're healthy you will feel like that and be happier with yourself. And therefore you're life will run better, and obviously you'll smile more often. 

I think it brings self esteem which in these days in teenage girl's life is important.

Of Course I'll have to do more exercise and eat less junk food and candy and all that stuff, but it's for a great reason - inner piece.

I'm starting practice yoga. I never thought it could be so much fun!

Oh and yes, I have a great help from a nutritionist, he's really cool. I just wanna be able to accomplish everything he tells me to do. 

After all, all I want is to feel great with myself.

Today I went shopping with my mom. We went to Zara, Pepe Jeans London, Pull & Bear, Levi's, Springfield, Sephora, Swatch and Mango, between others. I bought some stuff, yeah, ok, some really cool stuff, but what I am most exited about is...

Scarlett Johansson's bag for Mango to help Haiti.

I'm not a lover of her or Mango, but I went there and found this. It was a limited edition I even thought it was out of stock, but no.

It has a message that was written and signed by her; "Supporting the people of Haiti", I haven't found it yet, btw. About the collaboration with Mango and Oxfam International she said: “I’m thrilled to be collaborating with Mango to benefit Oxfam’s Haiti Earthquake Response Fund. By purchasing this bag, which I specially designed, you will be helping to provide life saving assistance like clean water to the people of Haiti.”

It's good to know when you're buying something you're helping someone at the same time. Mostly because the main direction for the money is drinkable water which is awesome!
I know it's not the prettiest purse ever but just because what she "makes", she is!

Dad, I Love You!

I'm very happy today, because I found something amazing in my living room.

It's a Zeiss Ikon Contessa. 

Gorgeous, huh? It was my dad's. He bought it when he was a teenager and now it's mine! It's in great condition, still have the original leather cover, and the leather smell can be possible smelled. ahah

OMG! I was dyeing to buy an old camera and I found one! I love it!! Don't know why, I think she is beautiful! 

Yeah, I still want a Leica M6 but until then I have something as awesome.

Can't wait to use this! I haven't gave her a name, though...

Yes! No! Yes! No?! Aaahh!

Hey!

So, this post is going to be a little more serious.

I think when you're a teenager everything is questionable. Who you are, what are you doing, what are you going to do in your future, besides the other stuff with friends/girlfriends/boyfriends/etc. They say it's normal, fine. But sometimes is harsh! You try to figure out what you really like to spend your whole life doing. You try to think about what you really like that would be awesome doing your entire life. For that people that the choice was/is easy, well, you're amazing! I am not!

Only yesterday I have decided. (And I'm not sure yet, indecisive girl speaking here) I don't know why, but there's something about "doing your whole life" that makes me measure all, everything and forces me to look back. Gosh! Just thinking about that makes me worried, I should've chosen already, but there's always something that changes my mind. 

But at this moment, right now, I think I know what I want to do and be good at. 

I hope not change my choice, again.

Girly Talk Again, Ups!

Heya!

Today I'm going to talk about very girly stuff, like make-up, skin products, I think you already got the idea.

So, I recently discover a brand called Essence.

                    

It's very cheap and the quality is great for the price of the products. And one awesome fact is they don't make tests in animals! It's great! I clap my hands to them!

It's a funny brand. Once in a while they have especial/limited editions and their packaging of every single product is soo cute. It's like impossible don't like anything. 

Some exemples:

They had the Denim Wanted in September 2010. Everything was denim/jeans related.

The Eclipse collection in July 2010.

Recently, in January to February 2011, the Black & White and I Love Berlin collections.  If you go here you can see all theirs previously collections.

Like MAC or any other brand they give names to lipsticks and eye shadows or whatever and so does Essence. I think their names are adorable! 

It's cool, because they change their collection sometimes, but they keep the basics still. Like if you go to the website and click on products, you'll will find this where is explained in a simple way every category and what exists in it. The site is very easy to search. 

And what I'm most exited to try is theirs skin products, because my skin isn't that good, I have some breakouts and scars, yeah, isn't good.

OMG! They have 3 categories about Pure Skin, as they call it, Clean, Care and Cover.

Series Junky? Just A Bit

Hello!

I like watch series. I like it a lot!

My all time favourite is Dexter. OMFJ! I love it! It's so mysterious and addictive! Michael C. Hall's character is awesome! He's such a great actor!

Next is... 90210! I like this, because it's funny and Matt Lanter is soo cute! I only started being interested in this because of Adam Gregory and he had a Bentley! Very important!

Gossip Girl. Do I have to explain? There are drama, fashion and boys, I think it's obvious.

Although this only premiered last Summer I'm a follower! It's so dramatic and eerie. 

I'm not that into vampires but I like this. I've been away in the lasts episodes but I intend to change that. I stopped where Stefan and Elena break up, I have a big upgrade to do.

I love Chuck! He is soo awesome and "nerdy"! It's really funny! I'm only at season 2, but I love it!

It's a very recent one, I think the first season started last September. It's a series with action, romance, adventure and science fiction, all in one. Pretty cool!

When it started I was a big fan, but now, not that much. I only watch it sometimes. 

I didn't mention Supernatural because I talked about it in the last post. 

Basically this is what I watch on tv. At least what I like the most.

Since yesterday I started watch Season 6 of Supernatural.

I'm only in the fourth episode but I'm obsessed! At this point there's more focus on Dean which is great because I love how his character is, so cool and reckless.

I don't know if this season is the last one, but I hope not. For me it'd just go on and on =)

I'm Bitting My Nails Until Then!

Hello!

So, in November I'll start taking my drivers license.

I'm so nervous! OMG! 

I want my dad or any of my brothers to give me some "lights" before it starts, I don't want to go there and know... Nothing! 

I even told my dad that I will die in my first try. BECAUSE one day when I was little my dad parked the car in a sloping street, my dad's car at this time was a Mercedes, and it has a vibrate orange lever that was the car's handbrake and I pulled it. As you might figure out, the car started moving. I was in the car with my mom, but she was on the phone and when she notice was too late and our car hit another. Fortunately everybody was ok, but the car wasn't.

After this "episode" can I say that I am not good with cars? I think so. But in anyway I want to get my driver license.

Two days ago, I guess, my dad asked me what car do I want, obviously I chose the Fiat 500.

I loooovvveee that car!!! As much as the old or the new, both are adorable! Which girl wouldn't want that car? I want the light blue, I called almond blue. 

Because when it's Easter and I eat almonds there are always white, pink and blue, and that blue is exactly the same! ahah 

When my family see one Fiat 500 in that shade, someone always says "oh, look! There goes a Fiat 500 in almond blue!" it's kinda funny. 

I'm so "girly" sometimes! I already picked the wallet for the car's documents. looool I'm so lame! 

But before the car and all that stuff I just REALLY want my license in my hand, I don't believe, it's just a few months ahead!
