Week Of Youth + Mia Rose

Hi!

It's pretty late but after all it's Friday, right? So I have an excuse.
So where I live they relebrate a Week Of Youth. It's like a mini-festival where two bands play per day on the street and it's free-entry which is always good and obviously it's at night. Therefore it has nothing to be bad.
One of today's artist was...

...The one and only, the lovely Mia Rose!
She is denefetely, without a doubt the most beautiful girl I've ever seen (and super skinny too).
She gave me several "winks" and pointed and me during the concert because I was front row right in front of her singing my lungs out on every song (guess I need a life, right?). Then when she finished her setlist we got to talk to her and she was sweet enough to sign authographs to everybody who wanted and take pictures and even talk a bit (but the staff were a tiny rude). Oh and I recceived two kisses ahah her lipstick was on my cheeks.
She was a little sick (she warned us and apologized herself for it) but she sings amazingly!! I'm serious if you get a chance to see her live please go, you won't regret, I can promise you that. And she is a great entertainer as well so fun is guarateed.
Me and my friends were absolutely the craziest people there so was pretty easy to see us and think "wow, crazy people over there, can someone call the police or something?" I'm serious.

Well, it wasn't the first ime I had seen her playing life, but I don't know why this one was my favourite so far.

So Mia Rose equals a memorable night.

The second band was a national band and we (once again) made the show. The vocalist dedicated the entire setlist to us!! WAS SO MUCH FUN!
We clapped very, very loud. Also at the end we met the band and the front man signed some authographs.

Some days ago my friend told me "I need a concert. I need the energy and the atmosphere." I told her I was feeling the exact same thing, when this opportunity came I knew it was worth it but never thought of having such a great time.

I'm super happy even though my throat is not and my voice thinks it's cool being husky but was a great idea for an event. Next year I'm there.

Becca Fitzpatrick - Silence

Hello!

"Seriously, are you gonna talk about the book again?!" I know, I'm being super repetitive but I didn't write anything about it since August.

The release date is in 5 days!! 5 DAYS! Can you believe how fast the time passed? Oh God!

So in 5 days I will be reading the third book on the Hush, Hush series. Oh yes, it's not the last one!
The author wrote today on her Twitter she is writing a fourth and last book which will be released October next year.
Isn't it great? When I read it I screamed my lungs out, I swear! I was on the phone with a friend and she thought I was crazy but was fun. I'm happy. After all isn't the last time I'll read something about Patch and Nora.

Hart Of Dixie

Heya!

Just today. But I did it. I saw The Hard of Dixie.

With the lovely Rachel Bilson.
I must say I'm rather happy with her returned to the CW after the OC. She's super cute and has such a sense of style...

Well, back to the show.
Again, they showed pretty much all the first episode on their previews. I know I love to see these little videos before the show starts or an episode but then when the actual-full video airs it's kind of disappointing...

Anyway, I liked it. I thought it was fun and I think it won't be so much complicated or dramatic as Gossip Girl and 90210. But we'll see...

Gossip Girl Season 5

Hey!

Today I saw yesterday's episode of Gossip Girl. The first of season 5.

I was expecting something more wow, if you know what I mean... It was fun but not very amusing...

Nate is cute, as usual.
Is just me or Chuck is cutter with his new cool-motorcyclist-boy look?! I'm linking his new vibe.

I honestly hope they or Serena to be more precise don't spend too much time in L.A. because 90210 is in Los Angeles, Gossip Girl is in New York. It was, it is and has to be forever. That's one of my requests. Another request I may ask if it's not much, put Serena and Nate back together asap!

And that's it.

The Lying Game

Hi!

Today I started watching The Lying Game.

So, I'm not sure yet about my opinion on the show... Some people on other blogs and stuff say this show is like amazing but I don't think it is at least yet... I haven't seen all the episodes but I intend to.
I just don't know what to think... It's kind of confusing, don't you agree?

Just let me know your opinion in the comments ;)

Abduction

Hello!

Today I saw one of the most expected movies of the year by one of my friends and I'm sure pretty much all girls in general - Abduction - with the one and only Taylor Lautner.

So, the pretty smiles Mr. Lautner is the main character in this action-thriller film. He's a normal teen who discovers was adopted but when he tries to confront the parents some people get into the house and kill his parents. As the movie runs he and the lovely girlfriend - Lilly Collins - stick together trying not be caught by those who killed his parents meanwhile he tries to discover who and where the biological father is.

I don't know if you understood everything but I don't want to give away much and the film by itself is complicated.

I think Taylor didn't had to work very hard for turning into Nathan Prince, I mean he had already the training and the abs and I'm not sure but the motorcycle license I think he had that one too, so... He just had to be brave and sensitive the rest he had already. But I'm not complaining. At all.

I liked it. Was fun.
And yes, he's cute. He is cute during the 106 minutes.

Supernatural Season 7

Heya!

I saw the new episode of Supernatural from season 7 today.

Honestly I didn't remember what happened on season 6 finale but when they start with that little "previously on Supernatural" everything came to mind.
If you watch an episode from the first season and then this one you'll see how complicated their life is and changed haha This season is definitely going to be confusion and breath-taking. I'm sure of that.

Supernatural is always something I look up to because Dean is super fun! He has the best eye-expression ever!

So yeah, super exciting.

The Vampire Diaries Season 3

Hey!

I wrote here some days ago I haven't watched the new season, any episode from season 3. Well, I've seen them now.

I must say the reason I didn't saw the first episode on September 15 was because I didn't like the idea of Stefan going around killing people, because it's Stefan... He's the good guy who doesn't hurt innocents and loves her above everything...
Well, now I saw the 2 episodes and my opinion kind of changed, the bad guy part suits him much, much better than I thought. And he's becoming cuter every season, talking about cuteness, what the hell did Ian do with his hair?! Seriously. At least his character continues on being reckless and the Damon we all know and adore, right?

So yeah, so far so good.

Salt

Hi!

Before school started and this is the third week, I watched Salt but forgot to write about it here.

At first the trailer didn't captivate me, I'm being honest, it didn't bring me any excitement to watch but now that I've seen it... totally different. She's such a great actress...

I think the film is a bit confusing at the beginning but then when the end starts to come you get into the storyline and everything turns clearer.

I read somewhere they are going to make a second, well by the en you can say that. I'd totally watch it.

I really liked the action on this and was surprising because I was expecting something different.

My Voice

Within this restless, hurried, modern world
We took our heart's full pleasure - You and I,
And now the white sails of our ship are furled,
And spent the lading of our argosy.

Wherefore my cheeks before their time are wan,
For very weeping is my gladness fled,
Sorrow hath paled my lip's vermilion,
And ruin draws the curtains of my bed.

But all this crowed life has been to thee
No more than lyre, or lute, or subtle spell
Of viols, or the music of the sea
That sleeps, a mimic echo, in the schell.

The Cab - Angel With A Shotgun

Hello!

Their new album came out recently, this is track 1 - Angel With A Shotgun - and I'm obsessed with thins song.

I have to say something about the lyrics.
Well I hope I'm not the only one... Seriously... But I think the lyrics are perfect for Luce and Daniel from the Fallen series by Lauren Kate. If you read the books I think you'll understand what I'm saying...
Look at this:

They say before you start a war,
You better know what you're fighting for.
Well baby, you are all that I adore.
If love is what you need, a soldier I will be.

I'm an angel with a shotgun,
Fighting 'till the war's won,
I don't care if heaven won't take me back.
I'll throw away my faith, babe, just to keep you safe.
Don't you know you're everything I have?
And I... Want to live, not just survive, tonight.

Please, tell me I'm not the only one who thought about this...

Springfield Cosmetics

Heya!

Springfield is about to release this month their first cosmetic collection.
I don't know where on when it will hit stores because when I was searching online there was so many opinions and dates that I don't know certainly so if you are interested just go to a store a ask for some info, that's what I'm gonna do.

I don't know about you but I loved the packaging.
The first picture has that little box I don't know if all the products come inside but if they come tell me how cute is that?!

I'll definitely check everything out!

90210, The Secret Circle & The Vampire Diaries

Hey!

This past week while I was wrapped up on Jessica Verday's books, 90210, The Secret Cirlce and The Vampire Diaries returned.

Starting with 90210. Why can't they stay with the same boy or girl for more than 5 episodes?! That's a question I'd like to know the answer.
Well, They're in college now so from the beginning everything changes, I'm curious to see how this is gonna go...

Next The Secret Circle. I was looking forward to this tv show. I must say, though they showed pretty much everything of the first episode on their previews on Youtube but cool show, definitely will be following.

Last but not least, The Vampire Diaries which I haven't seen the new episode just because I saw the preview and I don't get why turn Stefan into the "bad guy"... And I know most people like Elena with Damon and believe me I really like his character but as I see it if they hook up he kind of loses his lonely-cruel-vampire-thing...

Now I'm waiting for Supernatural, The Hart Of Dixie, Gossip Girl and Dexter.

Jessica Verday - The Hidden

Hi!

Last book on The Hollow series by Jessica Verday - The Hidden - is what I'm going to talk about today.

UK cover, as usual.

Third and last book about Abbey and Caspian's life.
I don't know what to say... I wasn't expecting that end. At all! I cried for 5 minutes after I ended it, don't know why though, well I think it was because as I see it is a little unfair and like I said I was in this obsessed and emotional web around these books and I am always sad when I finish a book I really like.

I will never forget this story, that's something I know for sure.

I really don't know what to say without giving away too much...
But read it! I'm saying this with all my heart. You won't regret. I think I grew up in the last 3 days... At least it made me think about things in a different way... Which I think is pretty great.

Jessica Verday - The Haunted

Hello!

As I said, finished the second book on The Hollow series by Jessica Verday - The Haunted.

UK cover again...

So, after the end of The Hollow when Abbey goes to a psychologist center, let's call it that way, I thought she'd take more time without going back to Caspian, but fortunately she sped that part up.

This second book is more... emotional that The Hollow which I think is a positive aspect. Between the first and the second I'd probably pick the second as my favourite just because of the "emo" feature.

I think with the new characters the book is a little confusing mainly on the first chapters of the third book, but that I'll leave for tomorrow. I mean, the storyline doesn't change much, they can't touch each other as well and without saying too much there's little that changes.

I'm at the end of the third, definitely will end it tonight, so tomorrow's post will be about The Hidden.

I've a strange feeling when I think about the end of this saga. I've got caught in this super weird emotional state that I'll probably cry at the last page...
Tomorrow you'll know...

Jessica Verday - The Hollow

Heya!

I'm back non-spot on reading books. I know I said I'd try to read The Hunger Games but I don't even touched it...

So, I read in 1 day Jessica Verday's The Hollow.

Sorry, but I like the UK cover better.

I wanted to read this book for several months but for some reason was always sold out or I was on saving-money-for-whatever mode.
Now that I read it all I'm happy. I thought it'd be fun and had that teen romantic thing but when I actually read the book... God, it's so much better than what I thought it'd be. The all graveyard thing is so cool because she really feels (or felt) save there. The "my boyfriend is a ghost" is something new to this time of the century when every teen-book is turning into a film. And btw I really enjoy not reading this inside "we can't be together because I can hurt you" or "I don't know if I can't control myself around you". Really happy about that. What I mean is these couple's problem isn't because he or she is a monster (just a ghost).
And Caspian is sooo sweet!...

So, I really, really liked the book. Oh and the perfume thing - so cool.

I'm halfway through the second book of The Hollow series - The Haunted - and as before I'm super deep emotionally caught on the storyline.
I hope to finish the second today. I'll tell you tomorrow everything about it.

The Tree Of Life

Hey!

I watched The Tree Of Life today.

So, it's wasn't by my choice. I didn't choose go to a theatre and see it. It was kind of Philosophy's homework. The teacher said to all of us to see this film as homework. That's what I did.

From the beginning I knew it was long and a bit boring, but after the 2 hours and 14 minutes I changed my opinion. It's worse!
I mean, I did get all the "oh happiness doesn't last forever", "every second of our life counts and is important" and "if we want something we have to fight for it" or "life isn't easy but we have to keep our head held high" and all that stuff, but it could be a little less... heavy... There are parts where is just people climbing the stairs, I'm not a director or anything close to that but I think we all climb the stairs the same way...

Oh well... If you like weird, complicated, moral movies, great this one's for you. If you don't like and don't have a teacher making you to, then forget about it.

Paramore - Renegade

Hi!

Here it is. Renegade.
On Fueled By Ramen's 15th Anniversary Paramore played this totally new song.

Well, in my opinion is pretty awesome! And when she sings the "keep running" part, oh God, her voice... Breaks a little but is so amazing! She sings beautifully. Love her!

I don't know when it will be released, though...

Tell me your opinion about the song in the comments ;)

Hilary Duff - Devoted

Hello!

I talked many times here about Hilary Duff's Elixir. That I really liked and was in can't-wait mode until the next one.
Well, two or three days ago I added that new book to my list on your right. It's called Devoted and comes out October 11.

She showed the cover in May and I only saw it yesterday or the day before...
It's a shame... I know...

Here it is. Do you like it?

I don't know my feelings yet. I mean is pretty but when I remembered the previously one this doesn't make much sense... But it's cool. And what I bet is cooler is what it's written on the inside. Hell yes! Can't wait!

New York Fashion Week Spring 2012

Heya!

Unfortunately not all of us are capable of going to Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week. No matter how bad we want to participate, the majority can't go.

But fortunately these brands we love and follow by Vogue or any other magazine and the internet are every year becoming more virtual and easier for us who live on another continent or simply doesn't have the luck to receive the golden ticket inviting you to the event.

Anyway, like I was saying every year the brands we want to see presenting their latest designs want to reach as many people as possible via internet (obviously). They live stream their runway shows some of them on Facebook so we can watch as well.
But in this case, of NYC Fashion Week, there's this channel on Youtube (www.youtube.com/LiveRunway.com) which streams live almost every show of the respective day. I think it's the coolest thing ever!
The Fashion Week started on 8th but with school I didn't get a chance but today's Saturday so everything changes. ahah.

I got to see Lacoste presenting their new Creative Director along - Felipe Oliveira Batista - with super cute things. I bet they all are comfortable as usual.
Next was Jill Stuart. Colour! When the show ended and I thought about the clothes the first thing I remembered was an ice cream counter. The colours were neutral but made a statement. It's definitely a great collection. The dresses seem very light...
Oh, and fyi Ms. Emma Roberts was front row.

And because I'm the worst person in the world I missed the Vivienne Tam show :(

But an amazing fact about this channel is between the live shows they repeat the previous ones, really great.

Now I waiting for Charlotte Ronson to start.

This is fun!
They are repeating Vivienne Tam right now! Whoo hoo!
Oh, but Alexander Wang is almost starting... Damn! So many things to see... Grrr!!

A Cinderella Story: Once Upon A Song

Hey!

I watched it only because I had seen the other posterior 2.

The first movie came out in 2004 and featured Hilary Duff, obviously I watched it. Back then I already was a fan of hers.
The second came out in 2008 with Selena Gomez. This one was not on purpose. Was airing on tv and I watched it.
Now, the third with Lucy Hale I watched by my own will because I thought "why not see this one as well?!".

Well, my favourite has to be the first.
I explain why, because this one seems like was made in a rush. The classic-based-story seems to pass it by running. And since when was a boy as a brother? But ok I accept that change. and this sister was not bad in the worst side of the word! I'm just saying that they change what doesn't needed to be changed.

And the second was in my opinion better than the third. Because the characters seem a little more possible to exist in real life.

But ok, was a fun. I can tell it was fun.

Which one is your favourite?

School + Fashion's Night Out

Hi!

Today was a big, long day. I'm exhausted, super tired but not sleepy which is incredible because I only slept half an hour last night.
So was my first day back to school. I was expecting something worse but it was not good. Just spoke to one guy because he asked me the time and to lend him my pen. There's a cute boy, though.
Was good but wasn't good. I just want to never come back but I have good feelings about the school. It's not like I hate it because people treated me bad or anything. I just don't want to come back, tomorrow.

After school, me and one of my friends who I know for several years and haven't seen each other for months went where? Fashion's Night Out! I'm so happy to be able to say "I made it!". I have no words to describe how much fun we had.
My favourite store was probably Prada because they showed the new Fall/Winter 2011-2012 collection and it's great! I loved it! As usual. And was cool to touch and see the creations with my own eyes and not by Vogue magazine.
Marc Jacobs was pretty fun as well, they were giving these little "Flirty Flower Cuffs" with a huge rose from Oh, Lola!. Super cute.

I got lucky enough to be given the vibrate pink bracelet that gives you all-pass to the V.I.P. section and that was... Interesting. The room was full of people talking, smoking, drinking, eating, dancing... I don't know, anywhere you'd look were human beings. I spent there probably 30 minutes because the food had disappeared when I got there, they had only wine, the music was not captive enough for me to stay and talking to people you see everyday on national tv is awkward.

On BCBG there were 3 male models bare-chested dancing while showing off their "six-pack" wearing only jeans and... Wait... Jeans and flip flops. I thought "Seriously?! BCBG doesn't have one pair of shoes for them?!". They weren't cute at all if you're wondering and was so fake that was stupid. They weren't dancing. They were just shaking their butts. Let me tell you, that isn't sexy and it's not dancing.

I bought some things like the event's shopping bag which the money goes to an institution that helps women with breast cancer. Bought a ring on YSL, obviously haha and other things on Fashion Clinic. Hell yes that was fun! For me I'd do it everyday except maybe I'd took a few hundreds of people, I never had seen so many people. But, again, was fun!

I know today was also NYC and Berlin's FNO, did you have so much fun as I did? Tell me about it.

xx

P.S. - Thanks for keeping your fingers crossed. It worked ;)

The Art Of Getting By

Hello!

I wanted to see this movie - The Art Of Getting By - for along time, since I saw the trailer a few months ago on Youtube.

First of all I thought it was something different.

Now, about the actual film, I think I can relate so much with Freddie's character which is insane. Emma's on the other side not so much, I mean, everyone clearly can see he likes her and she sleeps with the only "friend" he had, seriously?! Who does that to a boy "complicated" as George?! I think that part is a little unfair but I can live with that...

I was expecting something dissimilar, like I said, so was kind of disappointing, but still is a great movie. Watch it, you'll learn something, I'm sure.

Get Him To The Greek

Heya!

Today's film was Get Him To The Greek.

With Jonah Hill and Russell Brand as the main characters.
Funny as hell! These two make a great, great team.
I hadn't any expectations and turned to be such a very well time spent.

The storyline isn't complicated at all - a rock star with drugs and alcohol issues who must be taken to the Greek in a limit of 3 days. P. Diddy won't be satisfied if he gets late. That's the main thing although that's not the point, the point is to see how a normal guy meets his idol who is a big mess and the comedy in it.

But go rent it or go to iTunes and watch it, I'm sure you will laugh out loud ;)

Definitely, Maybe

Hey!

Today I saw Definitely, Maybe.

It's the cutest dad-daughter relation ever! I'd love to have a dad a little bit more like Ryan Reynolds' character.

The idea is adorable - the little kid who wants to know everything but not much knows and at her age everything is funny. One of the best parts is when she asks what a "threesome" is and then answers "whatever". ADORABLE.
I laughed really hard at some parts, jsyk.

But in my opinion "April" should be the mother. They are so similar, like when they talk and the hair...

Oh well, loved it!
Go watch it if you haven't.

Pottermore Third Round

Hi!

(Third and I think last)

Today I received my email!

When I read Pottermore on my in-box I instantly screamed my lungs out, I swear.

I passed the first book, and I think if it had sounds would be perfect! The graphics are brilliant and the details make really the difference.

I'm looking forward for the next book. I think Pottermore... The word to define (one of many...) Pottermore is addictive. It is super.

But Potions was hard for me, now I understand even more Ron...
Oh but Spells was fun and easy, kind of...

Fashion's Night Out 2011

Hello!

On this upcoming Wednesday is Fashion's Night Out.

I went last year and was so much fun!
I really want to go again...

One of my friends asked me if I was coming and I said to her I didn't know because my school starts on the exact same day - September 8.
God! Lucky much?!
What were the odds?!
I really want to go! Maybe I can go if I don't get home too late. But then again there's so much to see and enjoy... I don't know if I can do that...
Well, I promise I'll try.

Keep your fingers crossed for me, please ;)

Pretty Little Liars Mid-Season Finale

Heya!

I am always complaining about don't have series to watch and "what am I gonna do now without my tv shows?!" but then I leave episodes behind. Weird, right?

Oh, well.
Today I watched the last two episodes of Pretty Little Liars I had left behind.

That's why I really like this show. It has suspense until the very end. Some parts, I must admit, were breath-catching. If you watch all the episodes and enjoy them I believe you went through the same and know what I'm talking about.

The bad thing about this is the rest of the season will return on October 19 which is a unfortunate...

I don't know what else I can write about without saying too much...

I'm really looking forward to know what will happen to Spenser and Toby, Aria and Ezra and obviously Hanna and Caleb oh and Emily now that Maya came back. Basically all their love interests. I think the girls need a little more of love, I'm just saying...

Tell me your opinion about the finale in the comments, I'd love to see it ;)
