Christmas Cupid

Hey!

Today I saw Christmas Cupid.

Although is a Christmas film and from last year, I only saw it today.
Ashley Benson's character is super funny and totally different from Pretty Little Liars.
Chad Michael Murray has a voice that I'd recognize anywhere and he's cute ;)

After all is a Sunday' afternoon/Christmas holidays kind of movie, funny with happy ending.

Selena Gomez & The Scene - When The Sun Goes Down

Hi!

This week Selena Gomez & The Scene released their new album - When The Sun Goes Down - my friend showed me some songs and my favourite was We Own The Night.

My feelings for the cover aren't the happiest, she looks weird.

I think it's the slowest song on the record but I don't know why I really liked the song and I'm not a very big fan of "Disney starts" except maybe Hilary Duff, but that's another story. 

The lyrics are cute, her voice is way better now btw. The others songs are fun and everybody will dance without even notice in that she's absolutely right, in my opinion if you want an album with Summer/dance-along music this is what you're looking for.

The Butterfly Effect

Hello!

Sorry for not posting anything yesterday, but was impossible for me to come to the computer :S

I saw The Butterfly Effect with Ashton Kutcher , today.

I know, I'm the last person alive who hadn't seen this movie.

Ashton in this was so different from now in like Killers or No Strings Attached I don't know what but he was different. He's cute we all know that but maybe the different was/is his hair in 2004 and the hair in 2011.

The movie is kind of complicated at some time, towards the end but depends on which version you see, I saw both and must say I prefer the one he lives.

Lately I've been kind of obsessed with origami, the art of folding paper.

I already done a penguin, a ghost, a bus, an ice cream, an apple, a cloud, a wale, a croissant, a carrot, a tulip and I think that's it.

Feeling Down

Today is not a good day for me. Maybe it's not just today, maybe it's the week.
This last days I've been feeling kind of sad or upset, I don't know, I just know that I'm not smiley as usual. And today even to put things worse I weighted myself. Yes, barefoot, not afraid and totally unconscious of what could've appeared.
I was never "fat", in primary school I'd pass hours without eating a single piece of food, maybe even days, because I was terrified of turning "fat".
Now, that I know the numbers that showed on that stupid machine I wish I was still capable of doing what I did when I was a kid, at least have the willpower. (even though I'm still not "fat")
And in our society we are constantly being attacked with "how cool is be super skinny", if you know what I mean, in commercials, on tv, on the internet, everywhere! God!
It's just complicated...
It's complicated and difficult being a girl these days, that's all I have to say...

Dreaming Awake - Gwen Hayes

Hey!

In May I told you I read Falling Under by Gwen Hayes.
Now, I discover the cover for the second book.

The image is kind of creepy I liked the first one better, I don't quite like the red roses there...
I read this synopsis and had to share it with you:

First I thought this was already out but then not even close of that. The release date is January 3rd, now how am I gonna survive when all my sagas/series are on hold?!
I guess I'll have to find a hand full of another books to keep me occupied during all this months ahead. Mainly until October (Silence), then January, after that next Spring (Rapture) and at last but not least May (The City Of Lost Souls).

Jared Leto Just Different

As you might know I'm a huge Jared Leto fan, and today I saw his commercial for Hugo Boss' Just Different perfume.

Even if you're not a fan of him nor his music you'll think he looks really cute in the add. 

On first glimpse at his eyes... there's nothing else you'll see. His eyes are probably the most intense blue I've ever seen.

You Me At Six - Underdog

I talked several times already about that Summer festival I'm going, so You Me At Six is playing in one of the days I got tickets to. I'm happy and happy. I've never seen them live so this is gonna be my first and I'm sure I'm gonna love it. It'll be for sure one of the best days ever.

This song os one of my favourites by them, so enjoy if you had or hadn't listen yet.
The video is pretty cool, I like the fact that the girls is who won "at love" this time ;)

Nine Lives Of Chloe King

Hello!

A break from all the enthusiasm of Passion and Silence and all that I thought would be appreciated by all.

Yesterday I saw the Pilot of The Nine Lives Of Chloe King.

I liked it. The all cat/wolf thing was nice and there's one cute boy, the blonde, I think his name is Benjamin Stone and british.
Yes, I'll be following, but it airs on Tuesdays and on Tuesdays also airs White Collar and Pretty Little Liars which is kind of boring because now all the others tv shows are on hold and if these air on the same day the rest of the week is super boring!

Becca Fitzpatrick's Silence + Graphic Novel

Heya!

I know what I said yesterday about how Lauren Kate made me believe that true, deep love might exist in any corner but Becca Fitzpatrick made me believe that people change but the past doesn't, so here I am to talk a little bit more about Silence and the graphic novel, both out this winter.

Yes, I talked about Silence so many times that this subject is annoying, but give me a break, I really like these series.
Becca don't want to turn the book into a movie, which is pretty cool, and decided to make a graphic book instead.

That's the last draw Becca showed of Patch. I didn't imagined him like that, but the first sketch was worse so I can't perfectly handle this one.

I think the novel is going to be Hush, Hush in like a comic book but I'm not sure, there isn't many information about it online.
This just make me even more anxious until October!!

Passion - Lauren Kate Review

Hey!

FINALLY I can say this: took me 2 days to read it from cover to cover.

I could've had read in only one day, but I had to sleep at some point... haha

I read somewhere that this book is Lauren's favourite from the Fallen Saga and now I can see why, it shows you that the deepest love in the world can go through everything. Literally. 

I LOVED this book, some parts are definitely breathtaking. I don't want to give away too much but Daniel is such a.... I have no words. He loves her so, so, so much and so does she, they never give up on each other...  And... He goes after her while she visits her other past lives... And in the end when he finally finds and catches her in the air... Awww! .... (See? No words) I think in the end if you're a girl like me - believe in love and is romantic and blah blah blah - you'll love it but at the same time will think that it's such a shame that this kind of love doesn't happen in real life. Every girl deserves a love like Daniel and Luce's.

Lauren Kate surpassed any expectations I had, even though some parts I felt confused and lost with their storyline and I think we go to too many lifes, but in the end everything fells in place and you got nothing to do but to love the book.

I really like the fact that Cam was once in love, too. In Fallen and Torment he's the bad guy and in the third is kind of friendly and helpful and not mean, was a good surprise. 

I don't know how I'm going to survive until next Spring for the fourth and last book but I'll be waiting even more anxiously than for Passion. 

Now, my next "goal" is Silence, the third and last book from Hush, Hush Saga by Becca Fitzpatrick, which comes out October 4. Until then, I have no idea what I'm going to read, so if you know some book you think I might like tell me in the comments, I'd appreciate that ;)

Converse All Star Classic Black

Hi!

Because there's nothing like the classics and what I wanted was sold out, I bought these Chucks:

As you might know I love Chucks for several reasons, I have a several colours but the classic black is definitely my favourite. 

Goes with every colour you can wear, if you're clever enough you get the type of music I listen to and even my personality, if you pay attention obviously and they are super comfortable.

And yes you can tell all this with every or almost every shoes, but Converse is Converse.

Source Code Review

I told you before I was pretty anxious to see this movie.

I was expecting something different but is so good. 

Seeing Jake Gyllenhall crying while dead is something "once in a lifetime". He did a great job, his character has to go through several deep emotions and he was great!

I know I say this every time I talked about films but seriously, if you haven't watched it, go now!!

Summer Holidays

Hey!

I'm finally in Summer hollidays. This school's year is over for good.

I can't even believe it, was a long and tough year.

But honestly, I can't wait for put my Ray Ban's on and travelling and going to Summer festivals and going out with friends and all that stuff but what I'll enjoy more is defenetly doing nothing, just sleep late and don't worry about homework or some project for a presentation and all that boring things you have to do during school.

My Sassy Girl

Hi!

Today I saw My Sassy Girl.

Elisha Cuthbert and Jesse Bradford star in the movie. I think it's a kind of romantic/drama film but it's not too "cheesy". 

If you watch this movie I think you'll believe in destiny and fate and in "if two people are meant to be together they'll find their way back to each other" and all that stuff that only happen in movies but we end up thinking that maybe will happen to us, someday.

So, watch it and tell me your opinion.

Wizarding World Of Harry Potter

Hello!

As you know by my profile, I don't live in the States so I'd like to visit the real Hogwarts castle.

I've always been a huge Harry Potter fan, I read all the books and loved them, the movies are quite different but still good, but this place... Oh God, this place is the place I need to go as soon as possible! You can buy all the things like the uniforms, wands, pumpkin juice and all that characteristic stuff. If you've already been there I'm sure you loved even if you weren't a fan. 

Now that the second part of The Deadly Hollows is almost in theaters my will is in extremely anxiety mode and the more I talk about worst.

My Bloody Valentine 3D

Heya!

Today I saw My Bloody Valentine with Jasen Ackles from Supernatural.

Honestly I don't watch many terror/horror movies, but my brother challenged me and I couldn't say no.

So, the first scenes are usually in the end of this types of movies, that time when everybody knows who the killer is and that was surprising, but I didn't like the end, knowing that "Dean" was the killer was not a good feeling, what I mean is I'm so used seeing him like good and kill only demons and the bad guys and all that and now he IS the bad guy was a little strange and in my opinion the ex-girlfriends's boyfriend is the one who should be the bad guy and killed. 

After all, was a good movie, some killing scenes are really great ;)

Never Say Never

Hey!

Today I watched Justin Bieber's Never Say Never.

Like i already said, i'm not a fan, I have girlfriends that are true beliebers but I'm not. His film has been in every celebrity mouth for the last months, everybody talked about it and would say it was great and was definitely worth seeing. I always said yeah, maybe one day. I was never anxious to see it. 

But I discover Gerard Way's Twitter account and he said it was pretty good, yes, that was totally a big "open eyes" for me, and then today I had nothing to do and why not?! Maybe, after all it'll be a good movie.

Well, now that I've seen it, I can say that I was expecting something different. 

In my opinion, yeah, he's under pressure and all that stuff but I'm not a fan and I knew all that it showed there. And when he gets sick, sorry but that was just for his fans to say "aww! Poor thing... He's so cute!". But wait, I have nothing against him, nothing at all. What I'm trying to say is that he's everywhere. You go to any Youtube video and in the comments people are talking about him, then he's in every awards show and wins always at least one, oh and nail polishes?! A fragrance?! What I think is that he's using his image in too many things, someday really soon people will get tired of him, even the girls with Bieber Fever, and they can think the opposite but if they think twice about it they'll agree with me, they'll grow, he'll grown and what sometime ago was cute, fun and new now isn't. 

But this happens with another artists not just JB, but he's, what, 17, and had done more than enough.

But on the other hand, he has to enjoy fame and success while it's on; albuns, music videos, a movie, special appearances on tv shows, nails products, a perfume. Seems like he's taking everything he can.

Back to the movie, if you like him, even if it just a bit, yeah watch it, if not... Well, it's not that amazing, and unique and wow but yeah, watch it anyway, you'll feel like "if he could do it, why can't I?!"

Taylor Lautner & Robert Pattinson Kissed Or Not?!

Hi!

I'm not a Twilight fan at all, I never read the books but if you point a shotgun to my head I'll say I'm team Jacob, fyi. Anyway, last night were the Mtv Movie Awards, and Robert and Kristen won Best Kiss, but he didn't kissed her, instead he ran to Taylor Lautner and this happened:

When I saw this live I thought he had his hand in Taylor's mouth, but with this pic, there's clearly no hand. I think the kiss was on the cheek, at least by this image it seems like it, I leave it at your criterion.

I was happy when Emma Stone won Comedian Performance or something, she's supper funny and I really enjoyed Easy A.

Now, outfits, I did like very much Kristen's dress, it has Balmain written all over it, and you know I loved the last collection so, yeah, her dress was one of my favourites. Blake Lively wore a blue dress that was really pretty but for what I'm used to seeing on her it was kind of too much simple, but she looked really good, obviously.

Mtv Movie Awards 2011

Hello!

Today's the Mtv Movie Awards, oh, actually is airing right now, Foo Fighters are performing at this exact moment.

I don't know the nominees (lame, i know), but like everybody I try never miss any Mtv awards. It's always fun and if you like music or, like now, movies is something you really can't miss. 

So, tomorrow I'll talk about the outfits and the winners and all that stuff.

Paramore - Monster

Heya!

As it couldn't be left, here it is:

I really liked the song.

In my opinion, they needed, the fans needed, so everybody's happy and excited, I'm one of those, obviously ;)

The song is full of power, I think the lyrics are for the Farro brothers, but.. who knows?! my favourite part is between the minute 2:25 and 2:28, they kind of repeat and it's pretty cool ;) Her voice is amazing, as always. 

So, just positives aspects by me (yeah, I know, I'm suspicious for talking) haha ;)

Sonnet For Homework

Okay, sonnet for homework.

I'm in the library, ready to write.

My notebook thick, pen poised to write on it.

My mind open, ready to get it right.

My view? The sky and billowing white clouds,

Tip of trees languidly blowing in the breeze.

I cherish the quiet, the lask of crowds

But the outdoor view is merely a tease.

Surrounded by stacks of books here I sit.

Slight noises of people, paper and books.

A constant motor's hum and bit by bit

I write this poem, concerned with how it looks.

Does it make sense, read well, and does it scan?

Or instead, perhaps some trash for the can?
