Green Day - Kill The DJ

Hey!

I know this was released last week but here it is: the new Green Day videoclip for Kill The DJ.

This is not from Nimrod or American Idiot which for me are the best albums they've made but I can imagine myself listen to this on my way to school. Even though that doesn't mean anything because in the morning I'm pratically high because I'm not a morning person so I'll listen to anything "audible".

I just hope the rest of the album isn't similar but even if it is well, I'll listen all the same.

The Script & Will.I.Am - Hall Of Fame

Hey!

Are you still in the Olympic Games mood?
Even if the answer is negative I'm sure you'll enjoy as much the new song from The Script with Will.I.Am.

In my opinion is an incredibly inspiring song. Makes you believe you can win over everything that comes against you. A little different sound from the previous album but still pretty amazing. I can't wait to hear the rest.

Green Day - Oh Love Videoclip

Hello!

Today Green Day released their new music video for Oh Love worldwide via Mtv. I didn't watch it there so I don't know how that went but on Youtube people aren't happy about it. At least, some aren't happy about it.

As a fan, I don't think this is the best song they've ever made. As I said before, it sure is catchy but I think they can do better because they've done much better in the past. Either way, people were saying this is disappoing because has nothing to do with the lyrics and is just plain commercial, I think they were expecting something more thoughtful or something meaningful, which was supported by previous videos and songs.
Well, I don't think it's good or bad is some rehearsal with naked women dancing around them. I wasn't expecting anything so for me this weren't bad news.

Did you like it?

Neil Sedaka - Oh, Carol

Hey!

I think of myself as a rock listener.
Even though I love Frank Sinatra with all my heart.
I think that happens because he's a legend. He had an out-of-this-world type of voice. As I like to say "if you like music you have to love Frank."
But Sinatra isn't the only famous singer from the 60's that his songs remain intact nowadays.

Neil Sedaka - Oh, Carol

It's catchy as hell. I'm sure it will stay in your head the rest of the day. Or even week.

John Mayer - Shadow Days

Heya!

Despite being with sobre health problems John Mayer is still releasing his album this month which makes me happy and sad at the same time...

But here's the music video for Shadow Days.

If the whole album is going to be like this, well, expect lots of post about it. I love this!

Some time ago, I posted these lyrics, click here if you want to see them.

Have Faith In Me

Yesterday I wrote I was going to starting reading the The Scorch Trials but I ended up going to bed super late and decided to re-read another book instead. I chose Spellcaster because was the last book I finished.
Moving on to the point of this, I talked on some previous post that Spellbound and Spellcaster have playlists but when I finished the second book I forgot all about it and didn't checked which songs belonged to the list and last night I did check.
Great songs! There's probably my favourite Paramore song there which makes me happy because "plays" during a nice scene.
But the best part was discovering a A Day To Remember song - Have Faith In Me - among the others. I love that song and also "can be heard" on a cool scene.

I had completely forgotten this song. I'm stupid. So now clearly my obsession returned and I'm very thankful with it ;)

Happy Birthday Jesse McCartney!

Jesse McCartney turns 25 today!
To be honest I almost forgot but one of my friends texted me saying something like "who is the cute guy that celebrates his birthday today?" and I automatically remembered. We used to have an "inside-joke" about Jesse McCartney when we were younger. Good times those.

Even though he has a new horror movie coming out this Summer I decided - why not? - to do a post with my favourite (so far) 10 songs of him.
First of all, beware because the crazy-fan-act is about to take control of my body ;)

Misery - The Maine

Hey!

My currently music obsession is Misery by The Maine.
When Pioneer was released Misery was the first song I loved, the beginning is captivating and the lyrics are very well written. One month ago they published the music video and my obsession returned.

LidoLido - Different

Hi!

You know that feeling when you don't really like a song but can't stop listening to it either?
Well, here's my example.

But I prefer the live version, though. Not so fake.

No One Does It Better - You Me At Six

Heya!

Do you want to know why I'm the worst person ever? I'll tell you anyway.
One off my favourite bands released a new music video. Cool.
One off my favourite songs from the record. AHH!
I found out about it a week and a day after. Auch.
There's more. I'm a Youtube subscriber of their channel.
Tell me, how did this happen?!

I watched it once and didn't get the idea, I guess I'll have to watch it a again. Oh, such a bad thing... haha ;D
I think Josh did great on the lyrics. I love the lyrics.

Despite what people say, I think they are still pretty amazing.

Thank You For The Music

Heya!

Without being a ABBA fan I still have my moments. I went to the premiere of Mamma Mia, so that was one of them.
This song is one of my favourite off them.

It's a simple song but I really like the message behind it. If you love and have a "special relationship" with music I think the lyrics will have a special meaning for you.

My Top 10: Disney Songs

Heya!

Today I was searching around Youtube when I found a video with a top 10 Disney songs someone made. I honestly didn't agree with some of his/hers choices so I thought why not make my own list.
Worst idea ever. It's so difficult!
When I was making my list I didn't remember any song... Not a good end result if you don't remember the most part of them, right?
Anyway I did this for fun and had fun doing it so here it is My Top 10 Disney Songs:

10. The Little Mermaid - Under The Sea

Under Pressure

Hello!

With all my heart I can't understand how one can not love Queen. I get when someone doesn't like all their songs but not like at least one song is something that really makes me confuse, maybe because since I can remember my parents always listened to Queen. I can proudly say Queen was the first band I've listen to in my life.

When friends ask me which song is my favourite it's torture for me. I can't choose one. It's impossible to say just one. How do you make tea without water? Impossible, right? Same here.
Anyway, just a little intro to say that at this moment of my life this song is my obsession off all Queen songs.

Under Pressure - Queen & David Bowie

With my humble opinion I say the music would be perfect without David Bowie but I'm happy with him there.
The bass on this is absolutely incredible!

Sometimes I think is just a shame and sad that so soon we will not have another band with their quality. But then again, that's the thing about music the real artist never dies.

Beekeeper's Daughter - Music Video

Hey!

A few days ago I posted the little performance The All-American Rejects did on 90210 with their new song. Now here's the music video:

I think this is on Panic! At The Disco vibe, don't know why but during these 3 minutes and 43 seconds I remembered severeal times Panic's videos. Maybe it was the dance-theatrical thing.
Either way, I like the song, probably not my favourite but is fun ;)

A Second To Be Sure

I found this song by accident on Youtube and thank you, God for that.
They're called Pitt Broken and are amazing!! I really like their sound. Oh, and the vocalist besides having an original voice is cute. (Sorry I had to write that)

Mia Rose - Friends In Love (Music Video)

Hey!

I don't like to post two (almost three) songs on a roll but today as an exception I'm gonna do it, sorry about that in advance.
Anyway, Mia Rose posted on her Youtube account the music video for Friends In Love.

And a fan you know I am, my opinion about the video is not the most positive, I mean is better than Let Go (and I don't want to be mean) but the video is cute and romantic and all that but I don't know something's missing... Maybe is just me who thinks that. Tell me if you agree with me in the comments I'd love to know if I'm the only one who thinks this.

Moving on, she looks pretty in almost every scene as she used us to and oh, even though this version of the song is little different I like both. The acoustic on her backyard and the studio.

Music Video: The Kids From Yesterday - My Chemical Romance

Today was a good day, yes, definitely, but my mood most of the day was pretty low.
When I got home I turned on my laptop and went to Youtube to check my subscriptions as I always do, the only difference was when I saw the new My Chemical Romance music video for The Kids Of Yesterday. Oh, my day couldn't be lower... Don't get me wrong, I love MCR from the deepest place on my heart as well as this song, the lyrics are amazing but when you're in those days when you want to be a teenager forever or at least a few more years but you can't and then rewind on all those past teenage years and notice they were wasted... on nothing... Oh, it just don't get better...
Anyway I called one of my best friends ever and she helped me (oh, she is helping me, we're still on the phone) to raise my mood.

So, the video was made by a fan who posted a fan-made video on Youtube and MCR saw it and than contacted and asked her if she would like to make the official music video for this song, how cool is that??!! Ahhh!!

The song just makes me think about this "crisis" I'm having and well it's kind of sad because the song is so amazing and now I will always remember that time when I saw the video for the first time I was half through a "teenage-crisis". This memory is going to be attached to the song forever... Great way to ruined it.

All She Wrote

Heya!

I've been listening to this song non-stop lately.

It's by Ross Copperman. This is the music video.
I think he's really talented, great musician. And kind of cute, too haha

December 25th

It's Christmas day!
Google theme is cute today, isn't it?
How was your night? Good? All the presents were what you wanted? I hope so. Mine were, kind of... haha I'll talk about that later.

For me the 25th is a little awkward because it is Christmas but at the same time it isn't. I mean you already have the presents and spent all night with your family and saw all the people you only see at this day and it's fun and all that but I don't know why it's awkward.
My family usually have lunch with all the family just like last dinner and at the afternoon each one goes to their homes. Just that. It's awkward. Oh and to complicate everything up the shopping center, shops and coffee shops and everything else is closed. Yeah, pretty boring day.

Anyway to finish this unhelpful post I decided to share this little video which has all the Christmas spirit we'll have again next year.

Happy Christmas Day!

Phineas and Ferb - 'Animatin' Rap

Hello!

I discovered this video today.
It's a rap made by Dan Povenmire and Jeff 'Swampy' who are the animators of Phineas And Ferb.

I hope I'm not the only one who thinks this is hilarious...
