My Voice

Within this restless, hurried, modern world
We took our hearts' full pleasure - You and I,
And now the white sails of our ship are furled,
And spent the lading of our argosy.

Wherefore my cheeks before their time are wan,
For very weeping is my gladness fled,
Sorrow hath paled my lip's vermilion,
And Ruin draws the curtains of my bed.

But all this crowded life has been to thee
No more than lyre, or lute, or subtle spell
Of viols, or the music of the sea
That sleeps, a mimic echo, in the shell.

Her...

I can never get my mind off her,
I wonder if she'd mind if I'd,
Make her my own,
And never let her go,
Hug her tight,
Treat her right,
Act all polite,
Take her on a date,
Make sure I'm never late,
Kiss her on her lips,
Talk about our kids,
Make her feel like a princess,
Living in a castle,
Hope that is no too mush hassle,
But I am so blessed,
Hope I can be the best,
Hold you tight,
Have her breast,
On my chest,
Pass the test,
NOW YOU'RE MINE!

Cara Lynn Shultz - Spellcaster

Hello!

Finally a new my-way-book-review. You know I don't say too much, in fact I try to not say anything because I don't like spoilers.
This not-really-a-book-review will feature Spellcaster written by Cara Lynn Shultz.

Findin your eternal soulmate - easy.
Stopping a true-love-hungry evil - not so much...

After breaking a centuries-old romantic curse, Emma Connor is (almost) glad to get back to normal problems. Although... It's not not easy dealing with jealous cliques and gossip that rule her exclusive Upper East Side prep, even for a sixteen-year-old newbie witch. Having the most-wanted boy in school as her eternal soul mate sure helps ease the pain - especially since wealthy, rocker-hot Breandan Salinger is very good staying irresistibly close...

But something dark and hungry is using Emma and Breandan's deepest fears to reveal damaging secrests and destroy their trust in each other. And Emma's crash course in uber-spells may not be enough to keep them safe... or stop an inhumam force bent on making their unsuspected power its own.

The Vow

Hey!

I've said it before and I say it again I'm a romantic even though I try to be realistic as much as I can. Most of the time. But than are these films that makes it all much difficult.

I know it's based on a true story but let's be real. First: "based on" is not copy-paste Second: Channing Tatum and Rachel MacAdams, seriously? How sneaky. Third: the statistical probability to this story happen to someone on real life is what, 0.01 in 10.000?
Ok. I know. Here I am talking about probability when enjoyed watching it.

One good aspect about the film is that it's not that average romantic-drama film you watch on Sunday afternoon on tv. If you haven't watch it yet, prepare for some to-die-for-romantic-scenes, obviously, but has a swirl of drama without being too dramatic that makes it different.
The only bad aspect I found is the end. Seems rushed. When it comes to the end you feel like you're missing something.

I read a comment somewhere saying Channing Tatum has a special talent for playing these type of guys.

Well, I think I agree :)

It's Valentine's Day!

Hello!

Today is February 14th which means is the most romantic day of year as some say. I hope you had a lovely one.

For me, though, it isn't that special. As I see it is just one day for you to spend money. Marketing, basically.
If you love someone you showed it everyday not on one single day when you're obliged. I think it is one day invented by brands for people to show who spend more money to see who loves more the other. It's kind of pathetic.

Anyway, despite everything I'm a 100% romantic and obviously this day do not pass by me without saying at least hello.
The Google Doodle was the most adorable thing ever! Was really sweet. I thought about publish it but I'm sure you already watched it so I put my head spinning for something I truly think is romantic and captured the real essence of romance. I ended up with this:

Heath Ledger singing Can't Take My Eyes Off You on 10 Thing I Hate About You

Happy Valentine's Day!

When It's Time

One of the most beautiful things on earth is the "magic" of music. Take this as an example, today when I was on the train after school, and today was such a stressful day, I turned my music on and just travelled around my playlist on shuffle mode. I like this. Mainly because I end up always earring something new or something I didn't remember which I think is one of the best feelings ever. The song I re-found today was When It's Time by Green Day. I haven't listened to this song for so long and honestly I don't know why because I love it. I love, love the lyrics. And because of that, today I'm going to post them. Imagine this as a love poem or some random text if you may.

Mia Rose - Friends In Love (Music Video)

Hey!

I don't like to post two (almost three) songs on a roll but today as an exception I'm gonna do it, sorry about that in advance.
Anyway, Mia Rose posted on her Youtube account the music video for Friends In Love.

And a fan you know I am, my opinion about the video is not the most positive, I mean is better than Let Go (and I don't want to be mean) but the video is cute and romantic and all that but I don't know something's missing... Maybe is just me who thinks that. Tell me if you agree with me in the comments I'd love to know if I'm the only one who thinks this.

Moving on, she looks pretty in almost every scene as she used us to and oh, even though this version of the song is little different I like both. The acoustic on her backyard and the studio.

Claddagh Ring

Hi!

In Spellbound, the book written by Cara Lyinn Shultz, there's a part where Brendan gives a Claddagh ring to Emma I was totally "what on earth is a Claddagh ring?!". As uncultured as I am, I've never heard about anything like it. I finished the book and forgot at all about the ring with a strange name but today I was just checking what I've been reading for the last months when I ended up re-reading Spellbound and now, yes, I googled it.
I found a website called claddaghring.com which sells these famous rings. I searched around and they are as I imagined while reading the book. Although the "classic" model is not my favourite. I don't like the hands involving the heart however I found one I thought was really cute.
