MasterChef USA

Hey!

One of my brothers pushed me into watching this. We both saw the Australia version so he insisted that we'd see this as well.

 

It's a family habbit to see on tv food related programs. We all are Jamie Oliver true admirers. Thus is normal for us to now see the evolution of those programs that include passionate cookers turn into an amazig chef.

Both of my brothers really enjoy watching Hell's Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares and all the other hundred shows Chef Ramsey has and that was a heavy reason for them to see this version of Masterchef. Well, so far so good. We're still at the begining but enjoying it.

United Colors Of Benetton iPad Case

I don't know if I've ever wrote here but I have the third generation of the iPad in white. I think I bought it over a month ago. Since then I've been searching for a cute, light, not too expensive case for my baby. After a few days of tiring my eyes over several websites my mom asked me why didn't I buy the one from United Colors Of Benetton. Well, that was a great question but I did not know Benetton had one.

It's cute. Not heavy. And costs 14.99€ which I think is pretty cheap.
Mine is purple and I was lucky enough to get the last one.

Obviously I thanked my mom for suggesting this soft envelop. If you don't own an iPad you can still use it as a brief bag.

Get The Gringo (2012)

Hi!

Today I watched Get The Gringo.

With Mel Gibson.

I had seen the trailer sometime ago and remember thinking it could be fun. Today my brother asked me if I wanted to see it with him and clearly said yes.

I don't know if there are real prisons like that one, but on Prison Break appears one similar which made me think probably there are and if they are like that... Jesus, it's horrible. Can you imagine all the sickness you can catch there?

Despite everything, it's so great! Mel Gibson is incredible. I don't know if he produced it but still, it's pretty pretty amazing. I glad I watched it.

It's My Birthday

I turn 18 today.

When I was 12 I thought that turning eighteen was the best that could happen in life. You become legally responsible of yourself and for my twelve-year-old brain that was the coolest thing ever.

But today was anything but cool. I spend the day at home just doing nothing. I skipped school because it's not everyday you turn 18 and my mom told me I kind of deserved it.

In my mind I'm not 18. I'm still 15 or 16. And now during this last minute of the day I'm not happy, excited or anything similar. I feel like I need to battery myself if that makes any sense.

And because it's Monday it's not welcome to plan dinners when the day after you have to wake up early so Friday or Saturday I will celebrate my 18th birthday properly.

This image of Winnie The Pooh I think transmits easter's true essence. Because for me, at least, easter is the real start of Spring and this lovely image represents it all. The good times with family/friends having fun during a sunny day looking for eggs or just walking around happily.

Man On A Ledge

Hey!

Today I saw Man On A Ledge.

My brother went to see it when came out and said it was pretty good. At first I didn't believe in him because I didn't think Phone Booth was that great and I heard people saying this was under the same topic so I was a little skeptical about it.

But today my brother was watching it again and asked me if I wanted to keep him company and watch this film.
Well, my opinion says is better than Photo Booth with Colin Farrel, at least is more entertaining and not so "dramatic".

I think this trailer says too much but watch the entire film anyway.

I never thought I would see Sam Worthington and Jamie Bell as brothers but they're cool. Jamie Bell is so funny. I'm a fan of him since Jumper, because he's the coolest. And kind of cute. Oh, and is british.

Visit Calcutta

Hi!

My brother studies tourism in University therefore he shows me several videos on Youtube which countries or cities make as to promote and expand its own tourism and gain more tourists, obviously. The last he showed is the coolest thing ever. This time it was from Calcutta, India.

I think is incredible!! It's creative and works really well for the all audience.

Ikea Scented Candles

Hi!

During the weekend I went to Ikea.
Ikea is some place where my family and I go to several times. Sometimes twice a day. My bedroom furniture is almost everything from there so I think you already understood that Ikea is very popular in my life.
So, I went to the nearest department and bought a pack of 3 candles among other items.

I love to light a candle and its scent to spare around my bedroom. I alway have one on. These Tindra Ljuv as they called it, are perfect. Their scent is sweet without being too much.

The first from the left smells like my mother's chocolate brownies. The middle one smells like caramel and the white smells like cinnamon, in case you were wondering.
The package has 3 images of deserts above each one representing its smell. The darker brown as a slice of chocolate cake. The second has a square of pudding with caramel sauce. The last has some cookies. I think they all represent pretty well each scent.

The first I used which is on right now was the white. When on the scent is not so concentrated as before, though.

The Muppets: Bohemian Rhapsody

My brother showed me this and I thought is was so funny that I decided to post the video so maybe you can laugh and enjoy this.

Who on earth doesn't like the Muppets?
Exactly nobody.
I haven't seen the film yet but when I was little I saw some episodes and obviously they marked my childhood as many other person's.

I think these guys are the only "people" in the world who can joke about an amazing song and is totally acceptable. 

Pretty funny.

Kung Fu Panda 2

Hi!

I wanted to see this for a while and today I did finally see Kung Fu Panda 2.

After almost 12 months of its release I saw it. Well done, I'm making progress.

Anyway, I'd seen the first and like anybody else I wanted to see the sequel. I saw it with my brother and he thought Poo still didn't know how to fight. Silly. Ok, he is no Tigress but he's the Dragon Warrior after all.

The end is clearly open for the third film which I really want to see because who doesn't want to know if Poo's father is some kind of a Kung Fu master?! I surely want.

Under Pressure

Hello!

With all my heart I can't understand how one can not love Queen. I get when someone doesn't like all their songs but not like at least one song is something that really makes me confuse, maybe because since I can remember my parents always listened to Queen. I can proudly say Queen was the first band I've listen to in my life.

When friends ask me which song is my favourite it's torture for me. I can't choose one. It's impossible to say just one. How do you make tea without water? Impossible, right? Same here.
Anyway, just a little intro to say that at this moment of my life this song is my obsession off all Queen songs.

Under Pressure - Queen & David Bowie

With my humble opinion I say the music would be perfect without David Bowie but I'm happy with him there.

The bass on this is absolutely incredible!

Sometimes I think is just a shame and sad that so soon we will not have another band with their quality. But then again, that's the thing about music the real artist never dies.

Diary Of A Wimpy Kid II

Hello!

Today's film was the Diary Of A Wimpy Kid 2.

Just today, I know, lame.

I'm gonna be honest with you I haven't read all the books yet.

The film is super funny, I mean if you're the younger sister like me you'll get perfectly (or almost) the feeling the little kid has, older brothers can seriously be pretty tough, although they can be occasionally pretty amazing, it's a love-hate kind of relation.

I like these books because they're about real subjects maybe a little more funnier that in reality, yes, but real and that's cool.

International Woman's Day

Hi!

So today make sure to give a big, big kiss to your mom, grandmother, aunt, sister, every woman that makes part of your life and yourself!

Is a special day for them.
Try not to give them a bad day, it's the only one that they can just do nothing and enjoy doing something different, take them shopping, tho the spa, to the park, I don't know, just do something with them, I'm absolutely sure they'll love it!
I'm going to do the same ;)

Dad, I Love You!

I'm very happy today, because I found something amazing in my living room.

It's a Zeiss Ikon Contessa. 

Gorgeous, huh? It was my dad's. He bought it when he was a teenager and now it's mine! It's in great condition, still have the original leather cover, and the leather smell can be possible smelled. ahah

OMG! I was dyeing to buy an old camera and I found one! I love it!! Don't know why, I think she is beautiful! 

Yeah, I still want a Leica M6 but until then I have something as awesome.

Can't wait to use this! I haven't gave her a name, though...

Today is December 31st, so it's New Years Eve!!

I hope you have a great 2011 with all your needs and dreams. Forget about 2010 and focus on 2011. It's a new beginning, I'm almost sure it will be better than the last.

Today is the day/night that you can party as you want and nobody will think you're drunk or crazy. Well at second thought, you might be both, but the main thing is no one will be surprised or look at you with a weird face, it's understandable. 

Start it with your right foot.

The Awesomest Season Of The Year

Hello!

Today is December 23th so it's almost Christmas eve, and tomorrow I don't think I will be able to write here, that's why I'm writing now.

I just wanted to wish a happy, warmth and cheerful Christmas to everybody in this world, with your family or friends or even both I hope you enjoy this night, after all it only happens once a year. ;-)

I love this time of the year, I think is the best holiday. 

You can listen the songs, OH! I love the Christmas songs, I love hearing Sinatra singing Let It Snow, The Christmas Song or even Jingle Bells. (What am I saying?! I love all Sinatra's songs! Who doesn't right?!).

You walk on the street and the cold freezes your bones and everybody hates, yeah, but if Christmas wasn't like that, it wasn't really, truly Christmas. 

The streets are decorated with Christmas ornaments, everywhere you look you see a different colour, a light can totally make you smile and feel heated. That's why I love this time so much. Everything changes!

Any place you go is full of people, parents, grandparents, children, buying their presents, it's the time you see family or friends that you haven't seen for a while and catch up. 

It's awesome!
