Lindsay Ribar - The Art Of Wishing

Hey!

I've been gone for God knows how long, but life has been tough.. I'm not gonna lie. But now that Summer's here I'm hoping I can go back to the way things used to be. I'm not saying I'm going to start writing a post per day but I'm sure as hell will try to at least publish 2-3 post per week, I think that's enough improvement for starting.

So, as a welcome-back post I decided to do a book review. I sure missed those. Get ready because even though I have a few dozens of books to review here from last year I'm doing The Art Of Wishing by Lindsay Ribar which I read last month.

Margo McKenna has a plan for just about anything, from landing the lead in her high school play to getting into a good college. So when she finds herself in possission of a genie's ring and the chance to make three wishes, she doens't know what to do. Why should she put her life into someone else's hands?

But Oliver is more than just a genie - he's also a sophomore at Margo's high school, and he's on the run from a murderer. As he and Margo grow closer, she discovers that it will take more than three wishes to save him.

I realized I had never read anything about genies so that's when I put some serious effort on my search for this subject I discovered this book and then I noticed how cool the cover was and well there was nothing that could be done about it. This would be the first book I was going to read about genies.

Da Vinci's Demons

Hi!

I've been obsessed with Da Vinci's Demons since it started which was what, 4 weeks ago, yes. It's been an "obsessed" month.

If you don't know what this tv show is about well it's about Leonardo Da Vinci's young life as an inventor, architector, engineer, painter and mainly being a total badass, let's be honest.

I'm sure I shouldn't be saying this but Tom Riley is just so amazing as Leonardo... I had imagined his kind of behavior on someone like Raphael but I'm so fine with this version of Da Vinci. So, Tom Riley is adorable as hell, I can't even... and all that leather... Jesus!
Oh and talking about leather, I WANT THAT JACKET! I've been looking everywhere for that precious piece of clothing and guess what, I haven't found anything, any brand, nothing! But then, yesterday Henry V Part I was playing on tv and Tom Hiddleston was running around with one exemplar just like Leonardo's and I had a little freak out because that means it isn't made just for Da Vinci, right? Well, I just hope this is true.
It just looks worn-out and so amazingly cool.
Do you know where I can buy it? Or at least, the brand? I'd be forever grateful to whoever could tell me...

It's My Birthday!

Hello!

My last weeks have been a whirldwind with exams which ended last Friday and amazingly at the same day I had a birthday party. We went clubing and let me just tell you I hadn't had fun like that in such a long time... We are definitly repeting that asap and that's a promise.

So today it's my 19th birthday.

I'm not doing anything fancy, just staying home with my family and enjoying some relaxing time after a rough past week.
I feel old. God, I can't believe is my last year as a teenager... Jesus, where did time go?!

Well, I decided that if this is my last year as a teen I should enjoy it as much as I can therefore I'm doing something diferent everyday. Some days I'm sure it's going to be something small but I'm hoping for some big events coming from myself this next year. I thought about buying a little notebook and writing down all those new things my life is about to receive, let's just hope I can do that.

Thus, all I have to say is... here's to the new last old (if that maskes sense).

Fall Out Boy - The Phoenix

A few weeks ago I wrote something about how excited I am upon Fall Out Boy's return and their first single after the break. This week they released a freshly backed new video and song.

I like this one better than My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark. The video is pretty cool, actually. Do you think they are going to make a continuantion?

My Chemical Romance Ends

Hey!

As the world knows last Friday the members of My Chemical Romance wrote on their official website that the band was ending.
Well, they were one of favourite bands and I didn't get to see them playing live so yeah I'm pretty upset. So as my sad goodbye I decided to post my most played live video. That way we - I - can pretend they played one final concert.

I love this song!! Has such inspirational lyrics.

If the music stays the artist never dies, isn't that what they say?
