Gwen Hayes - Falling Under #2

Hi!

During the last 3 nights (because I've been forcing myself to only read at night) I've been reading the sequel of Falling Under: Dreaming Awake written by Gwen Hayes.

So this is the second book on the series and I don't know yet if there's going to be third by, if you have read Dreaming Awake, you know that the end is a tortuous.

During the storyline I think some parts are a little... unnecessary, I mean all the lies... May be realistic comparing to real-life couples but after what they went through, these things could be... less... I have no idea if I'm making any sense but hey, they're a demon-couple what bother with minimal things?! Yes, I get the I'm-still-half-human-and-still-have-human-problems thing but...

Anyway, Haden is... oh, well... He's so sweet to say the least.

Dreaming Awake - Gwen Hayes

In May I told you I read Falling Under by Gwen Hayes.
Now, I discover the cover for the second book.

The image is kind of creepy I liked the first one better, I don't quite like the red roses there...
I read this synopsis and had to share it with you:

First I thought this was already out but then not even close of that. The release date is January 3rd, now how am I gonna survive when all my sagas/series are on hold?!
I guess I'll have to find a hand full of another books to keep me occupied during all this months ahead. Mainly until October (Silence), then January, after that next Spring (Rapture) and at last but not least May (The City Of Lost Souls).

Falling Under - Gwen Hayes

Hello!

After sometime without writing about books, here I am.
Took me almost two days to read Falling Under, but is easily readable in one.

I loved the kind of Tim Burton inspired theme all along the book, I'm a huge fan so obviously that was great.
The romance between the main characters (Theia and Haden) is something really deep, complex and emotional and I guess that was the author's idea, if I'm right, I totally got it. She can write exactly the most appropriate words for the reader understand perfectly the character's feelings.

There are some parts that are similar to Twilight, although I never read it I know that Edward calls Bella "lamb" or something, and Haden calls her that too sometimes.

I read somewhere that's going to have a sequel, I'm not sure, though I'd love it. The end of this book can, without any problems, have a continuation, as far as I know, it's going to be release in the beginning of 2012.
